on Rodent and Wildlife ControlI was visited by Allen, south of Festus, MO last week and had the best service. Allen arrived on time with an enthusiastic and upbeat attitude willing to assist. He was very professional and knowledgeable about our situation and educated us. Allen went above and beyond by taking out of his personal time on the weekend to give me information on how to proceed with my pest problem. I would recommend Allen for special recognition in the work that he performs and Terminix for their services.
Lee W. via googleJeff was personable, and a pleasure to talk with. His knowledge and experience were easily shared without talking down to us. No pressure to make decisions, and the options were clearly communicated. Thanks Jeff.
Timothy K. via googleMy Terminix quarterly technician is Zach and he is great! He's kind, courteous, efficient and knows his stuff! He really helped me with a fire ant issue at my home and is always prompt to respond if an issue comes up.
Maude L. via googleService technician was kind and very knowledgeable about my situation with bees in my mailbox. He even offered great advice to prevent the bees from returning and setting up another nest.
Sandra T. via googleKevin has always been the best out of all of the employees I’ve worked with. Not only that but other businesses in the area have seen good results as well. I can tell. That being said. It feels good to have a worker that knows how to get things done and in a timely manner. Thanks kevin.

Joshua came out and inspected our home and attic since we’ve had a daytime bat issue. He was on time and very professional. I would highly recommend them for future services!
Paul W. via googleI got a text from Brian this morning and I was very confused but wrong number. Still had amazing service don't currently need these services but when I do or know someone that does I'll recommend them. Very friendly service!
DSSD G. via googleMy husband and I appreciated the more humane approach to extermination and the time spent during the inspection to explain the treatment. I did have to call for extra treatment since our moles were still present after initial treatment but they did schedule and complete as promised. We’re in our 3 months of treatment with prevention and so far the problem is under control. All in all a reliable service with competitive pricing but everything paid upfront and no ongoing deductions to keep track.
Therese S. via googleA couple of squirrels gnawed their way into my attic. I contracted Critter Control and they responded quickly to set up service. The squirrels were humanely removed and all possible openings were sealed within a week. A short time later, my attic was fogged to take care of any potential critters that remained. A very thorough job with a warranty. Very pleased with the service.
Joanne T. via googleWe noticed a squirrel entering one of our roof eves and because a family member had recommended critter control we called them right away. The sales person came out and gave us a bid, indicating the work would take two to three days and they could have a team out within a couple of days. The price seemed high, but given that I can’t climb a ladder because of my disability, two or three days work for a crew seemed acceptable. A team of two young men showed up when they had said and spent a little less than 3 hours installing wire mesh over all of our roof eve openings and placing a one way the two eves that appeared damaged from birds and the squirrels, although the technicians said they didn’t hear or see anything in the eve. We had paid for 1/2 the service up front and were billed the remainder. While I’m happy to pay a fair wage, especially for services that I can’t do anymore, the six hours of labor and less than $100 of materials, seemed far less than the price and time the sales person had estimated. I called and was told a manager would call me back. I’ve been waiting about two weeks for a call back, but have only received another bill payment request and this request for a review. There is no local number provided on the website and the people I originally spoke with from their main office were not able to address the situation. The work done appears to be fine, but it’s up at the eves, so I can’t really tell the quality, time will tell if the squirrels or birds try to return, but it looks pretty good for now… the cost seems exorbitant compared to the labor and materials though and the company seems too big to provide a response to my inquiry. I do hope we can come to an agreement on finalizing the bill. My attempt to reply by email to their billing request failed so now I’m hoping they reach back out to me.

The customer service from Hawx has always been exceptional. The service technicians are knowledgeable and professional. Connors Trader went the extra mile to make sure he listened to our needs regarding the ant problem we had. He did a wonderful job on our property.
Larry G.via GoogleJordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.
Sue B.via GoogleI would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.
Rick T.via GoogleVery polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.
Steven W.via GoogleMontana was pleasant and most helpful in taking care of the service requested. We are happy and pleased with great service and the professional assistance given. SHB

Comprehensive Pest Coverage
Pest control plans typically include a range of common household pests that can invade Chesterfield homes. Standard plans generally cover ants, spiders, mice, and cockroaches, among others. However, certain pests like termites, bed bugs, and various wildlife are not included in basic plans and often necessitate specialized treatment. Knowing which pests are included and which are not will help in selecting the right plan for your needs.
Service Agreements and Flexibility
Most pest control services require a contract that outlines the terms of service, typically spanning a year. These contracts often include regular inspections and treatments to maintain a pest-free environment. Homeowners have the option to cancel these services, with some companies offering cancellation without penalties, fostering a flexible approach to pest management.
Satisfaction Guarantees
A sign of a reliable pest control service is the offer of a guarantee. Many companies pledge to re-treat your home at no additional cost if pests return between scheduled visits. This guarantee ensures peace of mind and demonstrates a commitment to effective pest management.
Expectations for Treatment
When a professional pest control technician visits your home, they will typically perform an assessment, implement treatment, and set up a plan to monitor the site. Treatments can include sealing gaps, applying pesticides, and setting traps. Recurring services ensure that pests do not return, keeping your home safe year-round.
Savings Through Bundled Services
Many pest control companies offer bundled services that can lead to significant savings. For instance, combining general pest control with termite inspections or mosquito treatments can reduce overall costs. Add-on services are available for homeowners looking to target specific pest issues beyond the scope of standard plans.
Dealing with Specialty Pests
While general pest plans cover a wide array of pests, issues with termites, bed bugs, or wildlife require specialized services. These treatments are often separate from standard contracts and can be more costly due to the expertise and methods needed to address these challenging infestations.
Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services
Homeowners must decide between one-time treatments or ongoing pest control services. Recurring services may be more economical in the long run, as they offer continuous protection and prevent future infestations. One-time treatments can be effective for immediate issues but lack the preventive benefits of a maintenance plan.
Don't Get Caught Without Pest Control in Chesterfield
Can a clean house prevent bug infestations?
Maintaining a clean house in Chesterfield, Missouri can help reduce the likelihood of bug infestations. Regular cleaning, proper waste management, and eliminating clutter can minimize potential hiding spots and food sources for pests. However, it is important to note that while cleanliness can be a preventative measure, it may not guarantee complete prevention of bug infestations.
What environmental conditions or changes can lead to a sudden mouse problem?
Changes in environmental conditions, such as urban development or construction activities in Chesterfield, Missouri, can disrupt mouse habitats, leading to a sudden mouse problem for homeowners. Additionally, fluctuations in food availability or extreme weather conditions may also drive mice to seek shelter and resources indoors.
Are there any signs or indicators that the cockroach infestation has been successfully eliminated?
After a successful cockroach infestation elimination in Chesterfield, Missouri, homeowners may observe several signs. These include a significant decrease in cockroach sightings, absence of cockroach droppings or egg cases, and a reduction in unpleasant odor. Additionally, homeowners may notice fewer visible signs of damage to food packaging or property, indicating a successful eradication of the infestation.
Can mice selectively choose where to leave droppings in the house?
Mice do not have the ability to selectively choose where to leave droppings in a house. These rodents tend to leave their droppings in areas where they frequent, such as near their nests or along their established routes. Homeowners should focus on addressing the root cause of the mouse infestation and implementing proper pest control measures to eliminate the problem.
Why are there more ants in my house all of a sudden?
Ants may enter homes in Chesterfield, Missouri due to various factors such as seeking food, water, or shelter. They may be attracted by uncovered food, spills, or even damp areas. It is important to maintain cleanliness and address any potential attractants to discourage ant infestations. If the problem persists, seeking professional pest control assistance is recommended.
Are there any preventive measures to keep mice out of walls?
To prevent mice from entering walls in Chesterfield, Missouri, homeowners can take preventive measures such as sealing any gaps or cracks in the exterior of the house, ensuring proper ventilation and drainage, keeping food stored in airtight containers, and maintaining cleanliness to eliminate potential nesting sites.
