I was visited by Allen, south of Festus, MO last week and had the best service. Allen arrived on time with an enthusiastic and upbeat attitude willing to assist. He was very professional and knowledgeable about our situation and educated us. Allen went above and beyond by taking out of his personal time on the weekend to give me information on how to proceed with my pest problem. I would recommend Allen for special recognition in the work that he performs and Terminix for their services.

I got a text from Brian this morning and I was very confused but wrong number. Still had amazing service don't currently need these services but when I do or know someone that does I'll recommend them. Very friendly service!

My husband and I appreciated the more humane approach to extermination and the time spent during the inspection to explain the treatment. I did have to call for extra treatment since our moles were still present after initial treatment but they did schedule and complete as promised. We’re in our 3 months of treatment with prevention and so far the problem is under control. All in all a reliable service with competitive pricing but everything paid upfront and no ongoing deductions to keep track.

A couple of squirrels gnawed their way into my attic. I contracted Critter Control and they responded quickly to set up service. The squirrels were humanely removed and all possible openings were sealed within a week. A short time later, my attic was fogged to take care of any potential critters that remained. A very thorough job with a warranty. Very pleased with the service.

We noticed a squirrel entering one of our roof eves and because a family member had recommended critter control we called them right away. The sales person came out and gave us a bid, indicating the work would take two to three days and they could have a team out within a couple of days. The price seemed high, but given that I can’t climb a ladder because of my disability, two or three days work for a crew seemed acceptable. A team of two young men showed up when they had said and spent a little less than 3 hours installing wire mesh over all of our roof eve openings and placing a one way the two eves that appeared damaged from birds and the squirrels, although the technicians said they didn’t hear or see anything in the eve. We had paid for 1/2 the service up front and were billed the remainder. While I’m happy to pay a fair wage, especially for services that I can’t do anymore, the six hours of labor and less than $100 of materials, seemed far less than the price and time the sales person had estimated. I called and was told a manager would call me back. I’ve been waiting about two weeks for a call back, but have only received another bill payment request and this request for a review. There is no local number provided on the website and the people I originally spoke with from their main office were not able to address the situation. The work done appears to be fine, but it’s up at the eves, so I can’t really tell the quality, time will tell if the squirrels or birds try to return, but it looks pretty good for now… the cost seems exorbitant compared to the labor and materials though and the company seems too big to provide a response to my inquiry. I do hope we can come to an agreement on finalizing the bill. My attempt to reply by email to their billing request failed so now I’m hoping they reach back out to me.

Jordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.

I would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.

Very polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.

Initial Investment and Recurring Costs

For homeowners in Sullivan, embarking on a pest management plan often starts with an initial fee. This fee lays the groundwork for a pest-free environment by covering comprehensive home assessments and initial treatments. Subsequent to this, monthly fees maintain ongoing protection through regular treatments designed to keep pests at bay. Homeowners should note that these recurring costs are not set in stone; they may vary based on the size of the property and the intensity of the treatment required. Moreover, promotions occasionally offered can significantly reduce the burden of these expenses.

Service Scope

When signing up for pest control services, Sullivan residents can expect a service plan that covers a broad range of common household pests. From ants to mice, and even spiders, homeowners can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing their property is being guarded against an array of invaders. However, it's crucial to recognize that while a standard plan includes many pests, it may not cover all. Specialized pests like termites or bed bugs often require separate, targeted treatments.

Commitment and Flexibility

While most pest control plans advocate for long-term commitments to ensure continuous protection, many companies offer the flexibility to cancel services without penalty. This flexibility allows homeowners to adapt their pest management plan according to their current needs and circumstances, providing a balance between thorough pest control and personal autonomy.

Preventive Measures and Follow-up

Pest control isn't just about responding to current infestations; it's also about prevention. In Sullivan, professionals often implement preventive measures during initial and subsequent treatments. These actions can include sealing entry points to prevent future incursions. Moreover, follow-up visits are scheduled to monitor the situation, adapting the treatment as needed to address any new developments.

Comprehensive Service Packages and Extras

Bundles and Additional Solutions

Many pest control companies offer bundled service options, allowing homeowners to combine various treatments for comprehensive protection. These packages can lead to significant savings. Additionally, there are often opportunities to add extra services, like mosquito control, which can be particularly useful during Missouri's humid summers.

Guarantee of Satisfaction

Assurance of Quality

A significant number of pest control services come with a satisfaction guarantee. This means that if pests persist after treatment, companies are ready to provide additional services at no extra charge until the issue is resolved. Such guarantees are a testament to the service provider's confidence in their methods and commitment to keeping homes pest-free.

Targeted Treatments for Special Intruders

Special Attention to Complex Threats

Certain pests, because of their nature or the risk they pose, may require specialized treatment plans that go beyond general pest control services. Termites, rodents, and wildlife, for instance, necessitate targeted strategies and solutions, which often come with separate pricing and treatment schedules.

Service Frequency: Regular Visits vs. One-time Fixes

Choosing the Right Plan

Homeowners must decide between ongoing pest control plans and one-time treatments. Recurring services offer regular, scheduled visits to manage pest activity continuously, while one-time treatments address immediate issues without the commitment to a long-term plan. The choice largely depends on the homeowner's specific situation and preference for long-term prevention or short-term resolution.

Expectations for Treatment Day

What Happens During a Visit

On the day of treatment, professional pest control technicians will typically conduct an in-depth inspection both inside and outside the home. They will apply treatments to key areas where pests are known to live and breed. These may include kitchens, basements, and exterior perimeters. Techniques and products used are chosen based on the specific pest problem and the safety of the home's occupants, including pets.
