My tech was Dorita Powell. I really liked her. She was very professional but also very friendly. I’ve had several different techs to my house since I started my service. She is the 1st one to make me feel comfortable that she knew exactly what she was supposed to do. I hope that she is now my regular tech. I dislike having someone new every time. You need more techs like Dorita.

Mr. James Gray did an excellent and thorough job! Much better than others. I only gave 4 stars because for my first service of January, Steven who came the first time was not thorough at all.

So, I've used Orkin twice not consecutively but I have to say, the service was great! What I value the most is the effectiveness of the products used, the exterminators customer service and quality of care. My exterminator Brock Swett was amazing he addressed my concerns, personable, compassionate with care of my home and surrounding property. You're in good hands with Orkin! Customer approved!!

I am beyond satisfied with my Orkin experience. Deonta was AMAZING!! It is rare to find the caring, and professionalism that was displayed. She was a pleasure and went over and beyond! It is because of her that I will continue using Orkin as my go to for pest control.

Opt-Out Annual Contracts

I recently had Triangle Wildlife come out to address what I thought was a squirrel issue. Triangle quoted me $4,200 to fix the problem. I decided to get a second quote and called Trutech. Eric Adams from Trutech came out and spent a good amount of time walking around my house and exploring the attic. He then stepped out to his vehicle to prepare a quote. After about 10 minutes he came back to tell me that he wouldn't be giving me a quote as he'd essentially be ripping me off as I don't have a squirrel issue. He said I just need to get my gutters repaired in a few locations. I was super impressed with Eric's honesty and integrity. He was also training a new associate at that time and what an incredible example to set. Shout out to Eric and also if I ever do need wildllife services, you can bet I'll be calling Trutech. Watch out for those scammers over at Triangle Wildlife too!

Had a visit from Chris today. Scheduled for tomorrow but called, said he was in the area and asked if I we would like him to come by. I have to say that after dealing with the "O" word folks Truetech was from the start a welcomed change. The "O" word folk without so much as coming out to the house tried to have us commit to a one year service contract!!!!! """NO THANK YOU!!!!"""" No pressure from beginning to end. Chris did a thorough inspection but was unable to detect the source of the scratching noise that we heard within the pantry wall. Instead of trying to sell us service that he couldn't target the source. He shared some self help suggestions that I could deploy. Oh and by the way "didn't charge" us a dime for all the time put into the inspection. Thank You Chris!!!!! Truetech has a winner in you!!!!!

Very detailed and professional.

I'm updating my original review to reflect the fact that TruTech had no issues about returning to my home several additional times to fix new holes that cropped up. So long as you're under the monthly plan, they'll care take of any of your needs. So keep that in mind before cancelling!

My home in Raleigh had a raccoon issue. They came out quickly and resolved the problem. I would recommend them to anybody.

Pests Included and Exclusions

When signing up for pest control services, it's important to know which critters you'll be protected against. Most plans cover common pests like ants, cockroaches, and spiders, while others extend to rodents and mosquitoes. However, homeowners should note that not all pests are covered. Specialty pests such as termites, bed bugs, and wildlife often require separate treatment plans and are not included in standard packages.

Service Contracts Explained

Pest control services often come with contracts that outline the terms of service and customer commitments. These contracts can vary in duration, typically ranging from one to two years, and they may include a cancellation fee if service is discontinued prematurely. It's essential for homeowners to understand the details of these contracts before signing up, ensuring they are comfortable with the terms.

Satisfaction Guarantees and Re-service Policies

Reputable pest control companies usually offer some form of satisfaction guarantee. This means that if pests return between scheduled services, the company will provide additional treatments at no extra cost. This guarantee provides homeowners with peace of mind, knowing that their pest issues will be addressed promptly and effectively.

What Happens During a Treatment

A typical pest control treatment involves an assessment of the infestation, followed by targeted treatments inside and around the home. Techniques and products may vary depending on the pests and the level of infestation. Homeowners can expect professionals to treat common entry points and nesting sites, ensuring ongoing protection against pests.

Potential Savings with Bundling and Add-Ons

Many pest control companies offer the option to bundle services for additional savings. For instance, combining pest and termite control or adding mosquito treatment to a general pest plan can result in reduced overall costs. Add-ons and bundled deals not only provide financial benefits but also offer a more comprehensive approach to pest management.

Specialty Pest Treatments

While general pest control plans cover many common pests, specialty pests like termites, bed bugs, and certain rodents may require specific treatment methods. Homeowners dealing with these pests should seek specialized pest control services that can offer targeted solutions, often involving more intensive treatment options.

One-Time Versus Recurring Services

Deciding between one-time and recurring pest control services depends on the homeowner's needs and the severity of the pest problem. One-time treatments offer immediate relief for current infestations, while recurring services focus on prevention and long-term control, with regular visits to keep pests at bay. Homeowners should weigh the benefits of ongoing prevention against the upfront cost of one-time services.
