Leonardo was very professional, very polite as well as thorough. He was also quick. Thank you for sending him. I have really liked your employees. At least you hire people who keep your company #1! Your company gives me peace of mind. I get what I pay for plus the professionals who work for you make your company top notch. I’m old and get nervous to have people that I don’t know in my house. However when your guys come I’m completely confident I’m safe.

I just had my initial treatment and the Orkin pro, Joel, was very polite, kind and knowledgeable. I’m very pleased so far! He really covered the problem areas as well as outside for mosquitoes. I’m excited to see the outcome!

I’ll give the technician a five star rating. I’ll give the service manager a five star rating. I will give the customer service agent who sold me the package at three star rating. It seems as though you barely get the ink on the paperwork when you get a request to fill out a review/survey. There are many businesses ideal with that I can’t really give a proper review on performance until after I see whether what they did worked. That is why I gave the overall experience a four star rating instead of a five star rating. They lost a star because they asked me too soon if I’m happy with their work. Update: I was concerned about the quantity of remaining ants after the first visit. I contacted Mauricio, exceptional management props, who arranged with Chris to revisit for an immediate follow up at no additional charge. Now we’re happy but the ants evidently got the message that they weren’t welcome because they were missing from our patio at yesterday’s gathering. Good job guys!

Walter and Katie both showed up at 7:30 AM as promised. They worked quietly and efficiently and cleaned up very well when they were done. Both of them have amazing interpersonal skills and it was a pleasure interacting with them. They shared a picture of their work in the attic with my wife and I so we could actually see the completed work without having to climb up on a ladder. My wife and I look forward to working with them both in the future. Bill and Maureen Sawchuk

Very happy with the job. Came right out. Jay made sure everything was correct. He even went in the attic and saved a baby raccoon. He made sure the job was...

What an excellent pest control company! They are worth every penny! I had a major rodent issue inside the crawl spaces of my townhouse. The issue was so bad that the rodents ate through the roof, the installation, and the air conditioning ducts. After contacting the property management company about the exterior, and calling other pest control companies to handle the interior, and getting absolutely no where fast, I called Critter Control. They came highly recommended by two other homeowners in my development. Anyway, Daniel with Critter Control came to my home the next day to assess the damage. He was extremely through. The next day he returned with a contract. The price was the same as what my neighbors paid within the past two years; so, I was not shocked. Now, Critter Control is NOT cheap! They are expensive; but, "if pay peanuts, you get monkeys." Every three days a tech came to check the traps. He always came on time, and at a time convenient to me. After one week had past, Critter Control tech came to my home to blow in installation, the "existing" had been eaten away. While the techs where working both Daniel and his boss, Jose', came to my home to check on the work being done, and to insure that I was fine with work being done. As I rarely experience such professionalism in Florida, I was blown away. They have rid me of my rodent issue, once and more all! Thank you Critter Control. You are the best!

Robert S. via yelp

Thank you, Felix!!! Kind, compassionate, professional... I appreciate all the professional that everyone at Critter control demonstrates!!!

Jennifer B. via yelp

Absolutely surpassed my expectations. Where has this company been all my life??? Fastened down screens, spackled holes, filled in gaps, battened down openings that'd been loose for 30 years; fixed soffits; trapped critters; even drilled down molding. My house's dream-come-true !!! Totally alleviated problem--and then some! I literally do not have the words to do this guy justice. Absolutely awesome!

Aimee B. via yelp

We had rats and lots of them I don't know when it started, but it sucked called critter control. The guys came out right away wasn't cheap, but they got the job done climbed in the attic which is small put down traps and started to catch the rats. Once the we're gone the next group came out and sealed up the house using cement. The technician spoke to me on the phone while I was working in the Middle East and explained to me what was going on. They used a fog to blow thru the house to look for openings and closed everything up also sprayed something in the attic to kill the germs from the rodents droppings. It must have worked because we haven't seen or heard anything in the walls or ceilings since.

Jennifer R. via google

It is unusual for me to do a Google Review… that being said; I made the exception as it needs to be known that this Nationally recognized company “Terminix” and Pest expert “Daniel Traver” of in my opinion better than “5 Star Service and Pest Control.” Daniel Traver does a phenomenal job and has a very friendly personality.! I have been using Terminix for about 3 years; priced reasonably and free of pest. Most recently added Mosquito Control, my ankles sure appreciate that. Daniel always leaves the home secured, clean and bug free. Thank you, Bob

Jordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.

Sue B.via Google

I would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.

Rick T.via Google

Very polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.

Montana was pleasant and most helpful in taking care of the service requested. We are happy and pleased with great service and the professional assistance given. SHB

Service Types and General Pricing

When evaluating pest control options, homeowners should consider both one-time and recurring services. One-time treatments are typically more costly, ranging from $250 to $400, but are suited for immediate, targeted issues. Recurring services, on the other hand, offer ongoing prevention and are billed monthly, usually following an initial fee. These plans may include regular inspections and treatments designed to keep homes pest-free year-round. Some companies also provide the option to bundle services, such as combining pest and termite control, which can result in savings.

Pests: Covered and Uncovered

Most general pest control plans include a variety of common pests such as ants, roaches, spiders, and rodents. However, some pests like termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife may require specialty treatment plans. It's important to clarify with the service provider which pests are included in their standard plans and which will incur additional costs.

Committing to a Contract

Many pest control providers require a service agreement, which can range from a one-time treatment to an annual plan. Contracts are designed to outline the frequency of treatments and the duration of service. While some companies allow cancellation at any time without penalty, others may charge a fee for early termination. Always review the contract terms carefully before signing.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Providers often offer guarantees, ensuring that if pests return between scheduled treatments, technicians will provide additional service at no extra cost. These guarantees are a testament to the provider's commitment to keeping your home pest-free and can offer peace of mind to homeowners.

Treatment Day Expectations

On treatment day, technicians typically inspect both the interior and exterior of the home, identifying and treating areas where pests are likely to enter or nest. Homeowners may need to prepare their home in advance, such as by moving furniture or cleaning specific areas. It's helpful to discuss preparation steps with the provider beforehand.

Bundles and Add-Ons

Bundling services can be economical and convenient, allowing homeowners to address multiple pest concerns in one comprehensive plan. Many companies also offer add-on services like mosquito or tick treatments, which can be particularly useful in Florida's climate.

Specialty Pest Considerations

For homeowners facing infestations of termites, bed bugs, or wildlife, specialized treatment plans are necessary. These pests often require more intense and tailored strategies, which are generally not included in standard pest control packages.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Deciding between one-time and recurring services depends on the nature of the pest problem. If the issue is isolated or acute, a one-time treatment may suffice. For ongoing problems or prevention, recurring services provide continuous protection and can prevent infestations from becoming severe.
