This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

Travis always provides excellent customer service. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. He’s always on time. I appreciate and trust Travis

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

We are very pleased and appreciative for the excellent service and technical knowledge of Mike, our service technician. On each service call, Mike arrives on time in a personable mood and answers every question and concern. Truly Nolen is well served to have such a stellar employee as Mike.

I paid $1200 for initial termite treatment and $200 every year to keep coverage, but am leaning toward not renewing my contract this year due to price hikes. Knowing the signs of termites, the chemicals necessary to eradicate, and the process through observation means I’m paying increasingly for something I could do myself. I used to have seasonal pest control services with Truly Nolen, but I cancelled and do it myself now because the same technician, Michael, would consistently never show up or call to say he wouldn’t be coming. I would wait around the entire appointment window and day, then have to call the next day to reschedule. Zack has always been on time, super knowledgeable, and is a pleasure to be around. Three stars for him and I’m not sure he even works there anymore, there appears to be a new termite man who seems very nice and helpful. Here are the products from my inspection reports, just do it yourself: Pest treatment: Abathor granular ant bait Advance 360A dual choice (ants) Glue traps (horrific) Maxforce FC roach bait station MicroCare pressurized insecticide (spiders) PT 565 Plus XLO (spiders) Suspend SC (Indian meal moths) Suspend Polyzone (cockroaches) Talstar PL granules (ants) Temprid FX (ants) Wasp Freeze II Cy-Kick CS (ants) Niban granular bait (cockroaches) OnSlaught FC (scorpion) Dry wood termite treatment: Premise 2 insecticide TIM-BOR professional

Dylan is our go-to at Truly Nolen - we've had an excellent experience and he's not only timely and professional he goes the extra mile. You can count on him. I am really impressed at his honesty and work ethic. Thanks Dylan ! Desi Adding a second review - Dylan came back to do a retreat and once again- extremely knowledgeable and thorough ! We trust his expertise and appreciate him.

The customer service is pretty good and the employees are nice, but we have been have a issue with pest for almost a year now and they are still in our home! We payed 700.00 for the initial treatment and pay 50.00 a month to keep service and they have been to out house multiple times to treat but it never seems to work and we have to keep calling them back.

Richard T. via google

We have been so thankful that the ants have finally left the building so far. The only concern is that I am hoping that the person who does the service to Bethel Baptist Church would notify the office when he is on the grounds doing the treatment. We also did not receive a call stating which day he would be doing the service. These are little things in the big picture but because we are a church it is nice to know who and when the service is to be preformed. Thank you!

My technician always does an outstanding job always on time always goes the extra mile

Larry G. via yelp

We have had Carlos Vargas service our home for the last 2 years and he always does an amazing job! Texts us reminders, shows up on time, informs us of the work he’s done and lets us know when he leaves. We’ve never had issues with any pests besides the occasional ants that he always takes care of. Would highly recommend him & Terminix!

Courtney L. via google

Carlos Vargas has been our technician for over 5 years now. He always reaches out to me days before as well as on the same day of treatment to keep me updated on his visits and findings after treatment. He is always professional and has the customer at heart. He is definitely an assess to Terminix. Keep up the strong work! C. Pullins

We've been with Terminix since 2021 and could not be happier. Our technician, Carlos Vargas, is amazing. He is professional, courteous and very thorough. He always texts us before he arrives with an ETA, when he arrives to let us know he is beginning our service, and afterwards to let us know what was done and that our gates have been secured. Carlos listens to our concerns and ensures he takes care of any problem spots we notice. He is the main reason we have chosen to stay with Terminix as we trust him with all of our pest control needs.

Michelle L. via google

We've been using Terminix here in Surprise for 4 years and love their service. When we first moved in we'd see scorpions around the property, but now haven't seen a scorpion in many years. Carlos Vargas is always on time and does a great job. And he's a great guy too! We would highly recommend them.

Understanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Prescott Valley, Arizona

Homeowners in Prescott Valley, Arizona face various pest challenges throughout the year. Knowledge about pest control services' pricing and what to expect can lead to more informed decisions and better protection for their homes. Generally, the cost for pest control services can vary greatly depending on the size of the property, the type of pests, the severity of infestation, and the frequency of treatments. Typically, homeowners can anticipate initial treatment fees, with recurring services billed monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the plan chosen.

Average Pricing Insights

On average, initial fees for pest control services in Prescott Valley range from $175 to $399, with subsequent monthly costs for general pest prevention plans falling between $40 and $100. This pricing reflects a broad coverage of common pests, although costs can escalate with larger homes or more severe infestations. Recurring service plans are common, providing ongoing protection with regular visits to deter new pests from settling in.

Pests: Included and Excluded

When considering pest control services, homeowners should be aware of which pests are covered under their chosen plan. While general pests such as ants, spiders, and roaches are typically included, more specialized critters like termites, bed bugs, and wildlife often require additional, targeted plans. It's crucial to check the specifics of the service agreement to understand which pests are excluded and may entail extra costs.

Contractual Commitments

Most pest control companies in Prescott Valley mandate service agreements, which may lock in homeowners for a year or more. However, some companies offer the flexibility to cancel the service at any time without a penalty, providing peace of mind and flexibility. Always read the fine print to comprehend your obligations and the potential costs associated with early termination of the contract.

Satisfaction Guarantees

A significant aspect of pest control services is the guarantee offered. Many providers promise re-treatment at no additional cost if pests reappear between scheduled visits. This commitment to customer satisfaction ensures that homeowners can trust in the effectiveness of the service they're paying for.

Treatment Procedures

Understanding what happens during a treatment can alleviate concerns. Typically, a licensed technician will inspect the home, identify potential entry points, and apply treatments to targeted areas. Follow-up visits will then maintain the protective barrier and address any new activity. Each visit is an opportunity to reinforce defenses against unwanted pests.

Combining Services for Savings

Homeowners can often benefit from bundling pest control with other services, such as termite inspections or mosquito treatments. These add-ons can provide comprehensive protection and may come with significant discounts, reducing the overall cost while extending the range of coverage.

Addressing Specialized Pest Concerns

Not all pests are created equal, and some pose unique challenges. Specialized pests such as termites, bed bugs, rodents, and wildlife necessitate individualized treatment plans. While general pest control plans are effective for common insects and small rodents, these particular pests often require more intensive, and sometimes more expensive, strategies to manage effectively.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Lastly, homeowners must decide between one-time treatments or ongoing service plans. While one-time services can address immediate problems, recurring services offer continuous prevention, early detection, and, often, cost savings in the long run due to preventative measures. Weighing immediate needs against long-term protection is key to choosing the right service level.
