This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

The tech took care of the problem caused by the main office in Atlanta not relaying crucial information to him (our dog throwing up after the borax based granular bait application even though we kept her away from the area). He even came up with a reason for the problem (grain based coating causing her problems due to a grain allergy she has.) He made sure we had his cell number so we could call him directly with problems. I am happy with the local Orkin office and would not hesitate to give them 5's. But the main office is frustrating to deal with and I can't give them 5's for that reason.

I would have recommended him for the service type that we had before but he apparently has left and decided to become and fire-fighter and the guy we currently have now claims 11 years of service, I don't find him as reliable, as communicative and they're not coming when they're suppose to be coming right now, in that, they're suppose to come late in the day so that we can let them in the house and treat the interior. It's now been a couple of months since he has come at a time when we could let him in and treat the interior, so not as happy with my service as I was used to. They've done a good job. They do come out reliably, they are responsive for a callback. So, if you really want them back, you can call them, they will come back at a time and work, so. The pricing is moderately expensive. I talk with the guy, he is a little bit talky. The first thing he did was remind me that they had 11 years of experience and then after that it was kind of like, well, you know, the other guy came out at 4:30 when we could let him in the house, when somebody might be home and he's called twice now, that's the night before, and said he's going to be out at 10 AM, nobody is going to be home to let him in the house, so the callbacks are going to be a problem. I really liked the other guy. And I have not had the chance to sit down with the new guy and there are a lots of crawlspaces in the house but I don't think some of them he even knows about.

The regular technician is very prompt and thorough. He has no problem answering my questions. Since having the regular service I have had almost no problem with ants and very little problem with spiders. The insulation in my attic was blown in and gives me an R90 (so I have told). I would recommend this comany to anyone else.

They have been wonderful. They always come when they say they will come and they always do what they say they will do. The guy that helps me is named Constantine. He is wonderful.

They are pretty good. They are not cheap or anything but overall, they are one of the best here. We had termites all over the house and they did quite a nice job. We don't have any more trouble with termites. They are the only ones we have used and I have never had any termite problems after they treat it. You get what you pay for.

Thanks to Terminix my carpenter ant problem that happens every year has gone away. I don’t have to worry about spiders either and they even helped me figure out how I can get rid of my bats. I appreciate the way I have been treated by the man who does the service and I no longer have to try to find or store chemicals that will do the job. I also like getting a text with the service provider’s phone and ETA.

Understanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Newberg, Oregon

Homeowners in Newberg, Oregon, looking for pest control services face a range of pricing and service options. The cost of these services can vary based on several factors, including the size of the property, the type of pests, the severity of the infestation, and the frequency of treatment required. Generally, residents can expect to pay an initial fee ranging from $175 to $399, with subsequent monthly fees for recurring services between $40 and $100. This investment into pest management is crucial for maintaining a home free from unwanted guests and potential damage they may cause.

Pest Coverage Details

Homeowners should be well-informed about which pests are included in their pest control plan. Standard coverage typically includes common insects like ants, spiders, and roaches, as well as rodents such as mice and rats. However, some pests like termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife may not be covered under general plans and could require additional, specialized treatment.

Understanding Service Contracts

When signing up for pest control services, you'll likely enter into a service agreement. These contracts detail the terms of service, including the frequency of treatments, the types of pests covered, and the duration of the contract. Some agreements may allow for cancellation without penalty, whereas others may require a cancellation fee.

The Assurance of Guarantees

Pest control companies often offer guarantees to back their services, providing peace of mind to homeowners. These guarantees may include free re-treatments between scheduled visits if pests reappear, or even a money-back guarantee if the problem persists despite repeated efforts to eliminate it.

What Happens During a Treatment

When a pest control professional visits your home, they will typically inspect the property, identify problem areas, and apply appropriate treatments to affected spots. This may involve both interior and exterior treatments, including sealing entry points to prevent future infestations.

Combining Services for Savings

Many pest control companies provide options to bundle different services for a reduced price. Homeowners might combine general pest control with termite or mosquito treatments, leading to savings over purchasing these services separately.

Addressing Specialty Pest Problems

For issues with specialty pests such as termites, bed bugs, or wildlife, it's important to seek companies that offer targeted treatment plans. These infestations often require more intensive, species-specific methods for effective resolution.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Deciding between a one-time treatment and ongoing service depends on your specific pest issue. One-time treatments are suitable for immediate problems, while recurring services provide preventative measures and ongoing protection against infestations.
