Our company uses Ehrlich for building pest control. They arrive once a month for review of the building and apply whatever is necessary to keep it pest free. We rarely see bugs and rodents have never been a problem since we began their service. They are professional and address any and all complaints that we express upon their arrival. We are completely satisfied and have no intentions of moving our service at this time.

I have used Ehrlich for years on contracts for a variety of critter and bug issues and have been reasonably happy. But...... they changed their system or something recently and randomly changed my quarterly appointment without notification. I noticed the discrepancy the week prior when a reminder email showed up. I called and asked why my 7am first call on a Thursday had been moved to Wednesday sometime between 9-5 without notice and I was told my tech had a busy day on Thursday with a big termite job. I told them this is bad practice and we rescheduled to a convenient time. Now here is the kicker. The day of the appointment a brand new tech shows up. I thought perhaps my regular tech was sick or out but no - Ehrlich had reassigned the territory and he is my new permanent tech. Talk about bad bad bad communication. I generally like the techs and this new one seems fine but honestly why didn't you communicate your change in process? Either by email or certainly when I called. The rep actually lied to me when I called and questioned the random change to my appointment. Or he had no idea about the reorg either. This is when companies lose customers.

Ron is great!! He always checks with me to verify whether I want the inside done or not because I'm disabled and sometimes I just don't want to be disturbed. He's very kind, very thorough and makes sure he gets the job done

I’ve used Orkin now for two years and their service is exceptional. They always inform when they’re scheduled and if they have to reschedule. That’s important to us cause we have kitties to put back in during a treatment. Go with the best, Orkin.

Joe S. via google

Since using orkin, I’ve stopped pulling ticks off my dogs daily! Our Service is automatic so I don’t have to call and make an appt which is great because I’d definitely forget. Our rep, Bob, is the best! He always on time, responsive, lets me know when he’s on the way & reminds me to take my dogs out before he gets there. We will always use Orkin!

Mia D. C. via google

The technician Ron is very respectful & knowledgeable about Orkin's products & services. We get a general spraying every 3 months & are very happy with the results. It controls the insects, bugs, etc. So far very good.

Came on time for appointment. Walk through of the house was thorough and efficient. Helped explain sources of where ants could be entering and gave directions/suggestions on next steps to ensure pest don't enter (trimming tree + exposed area in garage). Walked all throughout the property and attended to lawn. Overall very satisfied.

Understanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Bethel Park, PA

For homeowners in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, protecting their homes from pests is an essential task. Understanding the pricing and types of services available for pest control can aid in making informed decisions. Generally, pest control services may vary in cost depending on several factors such as the size of your home, the extent of infestation, and the treatment methods needed. The average monthly cost for general pest prevention plans can range from $40 to $100, with initial fees typically falling between $175 and $350. These costs can be affected by promotions or discounts offered by service providers.

What’s Included in Pest Control Services

When you sign up for pest control services, you can anticipate comprehensive protection against a wide array of pests. These services usually include routine inspections, treatments to disrupt pest life cycles, and measures to seal gaps and cracks to prevent entry. Detailed reports after each service provide insights into the treatment performed and further recommendations.

Understanding Pest Coverage

While most common household pests like ants, roaches, and mice are included in general pest control plans, it's important to note that certain pests like termites, bed bugs, and specific wildlife may not be covered. These might require separate, specialized treatment plans. Pest coverage is critical to maintaining a healthy and safe living environment, free from the nuisance and dangers that pests can pose.

Contracts and Commitments

Many pest control services offer annual plans that imply a commitment for the year, though flexible policies are often in place. For instance, you can find services with no cancellation fees and those that provide a money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with the results, giving homeowners peace of mind and flexibility.

The Assurance of Guarantees

A guarantee is a pledge of quality and reliability from pest control providers, ensuring that you receive the service you expect. Most companies offer a satisfaction guarantee, committing to re-treat your home at no additional cost if pests persist.

Treatment Process Explained

Professional pest control treatments involve a thorough inspection, both inside and outside your home, followed by tailored treatments targeting identified problems. Skilled technicians apply safe and approved methods to eliminate pests and prevent future infestations, ensuring your home remains a secure haven.

Savings Through Bundling

Bundling pest control services with termite or mosquito treatments can lead to significant savings. Additionally, some companies offer free inspections and discounts when multiple services are combined, maximizing value for homeowners.

Handling Specialty Pest Concerns

While general pest control plans cover a range of common pests, some invaders require specialized attention. If you're facing an issue with termites, bed bugs, or wildlife, look for providers that offer dedicated treatment plans to address these specific threats effectively.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Determining whether to opt for a one-time treatment or a recurring service plan depends on the nature of your pest problem. Recurring services offer ongoing protection and peace of mind, while one-time treatments can be suitable for immediate, isolated issues.
