Our company uses Ehrlich for building pest control. They arrive once a month for review of the building and apply whatever is necessary to keep it pest free. We rarely see bugs and rodents have never been a problem since we began their service. They are professional and address any and all complaints that we express upon their arrival. We are completely satisfied and have no intentions of moving our service at this time.

I have used Ehrlich for years on contracts for a variety of critter and bug issues and have been reasonably happy. But...... they changed their system or something recently and randomly changed my quarterly appointment without notification. I noticed the discrepancy the week prior when a reminder email showed up. I called and asked why my 7am first call on a Thursday had been moved to Wednesday sometime between 9-5 without notice and I was told my tech had a busy day on Thursday with a big termite job. I told them this is bad practice and we rescheduled to a convenient time. Now here is the kicker. The day of the appointment a brand new tech shows up. I thought perhaps my regular tech was sick or out but no - Ehrlich had reassigned the territory and he is my new permanent tech. Talk about bad bad bad communication. I generally like the techs and this new one seems fine but honestly why didn't you communicate your change in process? Either by email or certainly when I called. The rep actually lied to me when I called and questioned the random change to my appointment. Or he had no idea about the reorg either. This is when companies lose customers.

We've been using Orkin for over a year. We have a wonderful dedicated service agent who knows our house and is very knowledgeable about the bugs and vermin present in our area. Thanks to Orkin our house is mostly bug-free year round. We're very happy with this company and highly recommend them.

Got a surprise call today from my local Orkin inspector. He could be in my area in about 20 minutes. I said great, see you soon. He was a very polite gentleman, gave everything a good look. I told him of some plans I had for the near future. And he was on his way. I was glad he didn't find any problems.

Bob is our local representative, and he is fantastic. He’s very responsive and punctual. There have been a few occasions I have forgotten he was coming and my kids have left their toys out and in his way. Instead of spraying around them or coming back another time he took the time to move them to an area where they would not be sprayed on. That says a lot about his level of professionalism and his dedication to make sure he’s doing his job as safely as possible.

Orkin (located in Washington PA), has been well worth the cost of the service.. The service people are always personable and professional. All questions are pleasantly and informatively answer. They call the evening before to let me know what time period they expect to arrive, in a 2 hour window. They have never been late. Very happy with office.

Understanding Weirton, WV Pest Control Costs and Services

Homeowners in Weirton, WV face a variety of pest challenges throughout the year. From ants to mice, keeping these unwanted guests at bay requires professional intervention. Pest control services in the area reflect a broad spectrum of strategies geared towards mitigating and eradicating infestations. Prices can fluctuate based on several factors, including home size, level of infestation, and the specific treatment required. Generally, residents can expect to pay between $40 to $100 per month for recurring pest control services, with initial service fees ranging from $175 to $350. Promotions often provide discounts, and additional services may influence the overall cost.

Pest Control Service Costs

In the bustling town of Weirton, WV, homeowners typically budget for recurring pest control services to protect their dwellings from common invaders. These services, which usually occur monthly, aim to disrupt the life cycle of pests and prevent future infestations. Initial fees for these services are just as important to consider, as they cover the first comprehensive treatment to tackle existing pests. While prices vary, an average home may incur a cost of around $40 to $100 monthly, with initial setup fees spanning from $175 to $350. Homeowners should also keep an eye out for seasonal promotions that can offer significant savings on these essential services.

Pests: Covered and Uncovered

When signing up for pest control services, it's crucial to know which pests are included in your plan. Standard agreements typically safeguard against common pests such as ants, spiders, roaches, and rodents. However, it's equally important to be aware of pests that are not covered, as additional fees may apply for these. Specialty pests like termites, bed bugs, and wildlife often require separate treatment plans.

Understanding Contracts

Engaging in a pest control service often involves a contract or service agreement. These contracts outline the terms of service, frequency of visits, and what's included in your plan. In Weirton, contracts may imply a year-long commitment but often come with the flexibility of cancellation policies. Understanding the details before signing will give homeowners peace of mind and clarity on the service expectations.

Service Guarantees

Peace of mind is paramount, and that's where service guarantees come into play. Companies typically offer a promise to return and re-treat your home at no extra cost if pests persist after treatment. Look for guarantees that offer money-back options or complimentary re-treatments within a certain period post-service to ensure your home stays pest-free.

Treatment Expectations

During a pest control visit, technicians will inspect your property, identify the pests, and apply treatments based on the issues at hand. Indoor treatments may include focus areas like kitchens and bathrooms, while outdoor treatments might target the home's perimeter and yard. The initial visit is often more thorough, setting the stage for effective ongoing maintenance.

Bundling Services for Savings

Bundling pest control services with termite, mosquito, or tick treatments can lead to substantial savings. In Weirton, homeowners can often capitalize on deals that combine various pest treatments, lowering the overall cost and ensuring broader protection for their property.

Specialty Pest Treatments

While general pest control plans cover a wide range of critters, specialty pests such as termites and bed bugs often require more targeted and sometimes costly treatments. These services are designed specifically to address the unique challenges these pests present, ensuring your home is safeguarded against even the most stubborn invaders.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Deciding between a one-time service or ongoing pest control can be influenced by the nature of the infestation. One-time treatments provide a short-term solution, while recurring services offer long-term prevention and control. Understanding the difference and the potential savings of a maintenance plan can guide homeowners to the best choice for their situation.
