This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

Travis always provides excellent customer service. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. He’s always on time. I appreciate and trust Travis

Susan M.via Google

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

Richard Chin was a great technician. He was on time, very professional & took time out to walk us through what he would be doing step by step. The last technician Orkin gave us had very poor customer service skills. I’m glad this experience was better than the last.

Artesha C. via google

Bruce is the Orkin representative that has repeatedly come to my house. He is always friendly and professional. He does an extremely thorough job when he is here. He is the best Orkin rep that I have ever had. I hope he sticks around for a while.

Kim F. via google

They are accommodating, respectful, personable, professional, customer friendly, understanding, responsive, communicative, thoughtful, and informative. I left out one MAJOR detail. John O'Connor was GREAT and did a very thorough job for us. We appreciate the care he took with our service.

Chey A. T. via google

The one thing we don’t love about Orkin is they will schedule you without confirming with you. Then if you have to reschedule too many times, they will revoke their services. I missed a call from them then I called back about an hour later, and they didn’t answer. Then I got a text saying I was scheduled for Tuesday 2-5pm. Luckily we were able to rush home from work in time, so we didn’t have to reschedule. The one thing we absolutely LOVE about Orkin is Kevin. He is absolutely phenomenal at his job, he is so thorough and really takes his time to take care of the issue. He knows so much about the bugs and has so many interesting facts he shares with us. Every time he comes to our home, we have great conversations with him while he is working. He is really just a wonderful person who deserves the world, and he’s such a hard worker! Please give that man a raise or some PTO or something!!! We’ve had other exterminators from Orkin come by but Kevin is by far the best!

Alan Bunting did a thorough job in treating my yard. I have gophers, moles and voles. He contacted his manager for a specific treatment plan for my yard. I appreciated his concern.

Dorothy L. via google

Critter Conteol has serviced my property for many years, controlling a rodent problem. They have done a good job but I have noticed a decline in the level of service lately. They used to let me know when they were coming but stopped. I mentioned it to them and I did get a notice last time. The last visit, though, the tech could only find 3 of the 6 stations they themselves put out. At one time they had a diagram but I guess no more. So they only did half the job this month

Robert K. via google

Critter Control is responsive and professional. Kudos to the support staff.

Craig J. via google

Had a bat in my house, called to make sure we did not have more

Pete K. via google

Zac went above and beyond in helping relocate a Mama raccoon and her babies from under our deck and then enclosed it so wildlife won’t be tempted to take up residence again. It took a bit to get scheduling coordinated but once they were onsite, they did an outstanding job!

Understanding Pest Control Costs in Sammamish, Washington

For residents in Sammamish, Washington, safeguarding their homes against pests is a priority. The cost of pest control services can vary significantly based on several factors, including the size and type of your home, the extent of the infestation, and the specific treatment plan that you opt for. Generally, homeowners can anticipate an initial service fee followed by monthly or quarterly payments for ongoing pest management. Initial fees can range anywhere from $175 to $399, with the higher end typically including more comprehensive services or larger homes. Recurring service costs are usually between $40 and $100 per month, but these prices can change based on promotions or additional bundled services.

Pest Control Service Pricing

The expenses associated with pest control in Sammamish reflect a mix of factors, including household size, infestation severity, and the type of pests. Homeowners can generally expect to pay an initial fee for the first comprehensive treatment, which lays the groundwork for pest management. This fee is typically a one-time charge that covers an extensive inspection, initial treatment, and the setup of ongoing service. After this, the service transitions into a regular maintenance plan, where professionals visit the property periodically to apply treatments and prevent re-infestation. These visits are often spaced 30 to 60 days apart, depending on the prevailing weather conditions and the specific pest pressures in the area.

Varied Pest Coverage

When it comes to the pests that are included in service plans, providers in Sammamish usually offer protection against a wide array of common household pests such as ants, spiders, mice, rats, and more. Some plans might also include treatment for less common invaders like voles or specific types of bees and wasps, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the service. It's important to note that certain pests, like termites, bed bugs, and specific wildlife, may not be covered under standard pest control plans and might require specialized treatment.

Service Agreements and Contracts

Most pest control companies in Sammamish require a service agreement or contract. This agreement outlines the expected services, the frequency of treatments, and the duration of the contract. While some contracts are structured annually, others may offer more flexible terms. It's vital to read and understand these agreements before signing, as they will include details about the cancellation policy and any associated fees.

Satisfaction Guarantees

To provide peace of mind, many pest control services come with a guarantee. These guarantees assure homeowners that if pests return between scheduled treatments, the company will provide additional services at no extra cost. This commitment reflects the company's confidence in their treatment plans and their dedication to keeping your home pest-free.

Treatment Processes Explained

During the initial visit, technicians conduct a thorough inspection of the property and implement the first wave of treatments. This visit is crucial as it sets the foundation for the ongoing pest control strategy. Subsequent visits focus on maintaining the barrier against pests and addressing any new activity. These treatments are typically exterior-focused, but interior treatments are available upon request or if an infestation is detected inside the home.

Bundling Services for Savings

Homeowners may also explore bundled services, which can provide comprehensive protection against a broader range of pests and potentially offer cost savings. For example, combining general pest control with termite or mosquito treatments could result in reduced overall pricing. Add-on services are often available to target specific pest problems or to enhance the coverage of your existing plan.
