We used Ehrlich over the last few years and have been very pleased with their consistent service and response time. There's been no major issues for us so cannot direct an opinion based on anything other than them showing up yearly to check for insects. I will continue to recommend until otherwise proven wrong.

Karen S. via yelp

Just an amazing company! Had pest control issues that were not being properly addressed by other entities that Ehrlich was able to take care of. All the techs are professional and prompt; and the service manager is also very courteous and understanding. I have personally used them now in multiple businesses - and are interested in bringing them even to my own home. If you want unreliable and cheap service - go somewhere else - this is the company to use if you want RESULTS!

Shaye was great and wonderful customer service talent! Really good service and informative w/o needing to ask many questions. Quick and easy. Thanks again.

The sales consultant Brian Hunt was awesome. He explained the process in detail and educated us in the way of termites. The day of the service was scheduled between 8am - 12pm but the technician Andrew ran late due to another clients job. He was very professional in performing the job once he arrived. Overall we were very satisfied.

Anthony B. via google

The working Man showed up right on time. He was very nice he even put booties on his shoe so he wouldn't get the carpet dirty. He explained exactly what he was doing, answered all my questions and he was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Laurie H. via google

My initial review was from our first service. The tech guys who come out are incredible, very knowledgable and professional. The customer service however is terrible! How do you market, "we will come out when you call" but don't have appointments for 5 days. Then have the audacity to say, "you're lucky I could find you that." We have something caught in a trap in a very awkward space and want to utilize the service we pay for to have them come and dispose of it-this would take less then 5 minutes Horrible. Looking for another provider ASAP. It sucks we need the service but I’m so pleased with it. Ron is the actual best. He’s so attentive and thorough. For my next appointment I will only request him!

Jade J. via google

My Orkin technician, Jay, was extremely professional and courteous when he came to treat my house for mice. I was very freaked out after having seen mouse excrement under my kitchen sink and he identified small gaps in my kitchen where the mouse could be coming in and out of. He filled the gaps and sprayed and I honestly feel so much better about being in my house now. So thankful for the quick and cost effective service!

Mike B. via yelp

My most recent technician was new. He did his "homework" and spoke with the previous technician as to what I preferred and about history on the house. My technician was pleasant, friendly, accommodating and very respectful. I had a scheduling conflict and he was able to accommodate me and with a very positive attitude. Once services were complete, he provided me with a summary of what he did.

Kathy O. via yelp

Terminix employees go above and beyond in their services. All of them arrive on time and are very helpful. I had a problem opening and closing my gate and was going to leave it open but the technician was concerned about my safety. He took a minute to show me a special way to open and close it without any problem. He was also very thorough in taking care of the property.

Understanding Pest Control Costs in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania

Homeowners in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania face various pests throughout the year, and managing these unwelcome guests is a priority for maintaining a comfortable and safe living environment. Determining the cost of pest control services is an essential step for budget-conscious families. The price for pest management can differ based on several crucial factors, such as the size of your home, the severity of the pest issue, and the type of treatment administered. Generally speaking, homeowners should expect an initial fee for the first intensive treatment of the home and yard, followed by recurring charges to maintain a pest-free environment. Prices for an initial visit may range from around $175 to $400, with subsequent visits often priced monthly between $40 and $100, depending on the scope and frequency of services required.

Pest Control Service Types and Pricing

In Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, the typical pest control service involves an initial inspection and treatment, followed by regular visits to keep pests at bay. The initial service often includes a comprehensive assessment of both the interior and exterior of the property, followed by a treatment tailored to address the current pest problem. This first visit is usually the most extensive and thus the most costly, with prices varying greatly depending on the provider and the specific pest issues being tackled.

Following the initial service, most pest control companies offer monthly or quarterly plans that involve scheduled inspections and treatments to prevent pests from returning. These plans are generally more affordable than the initial visit and provide homeowners with ongoing protection against common pests. The monthly cost for these recurring services can fluctuate based on the size of your home and the level of coverage needed.

Pest Coverage

When enrolling in a pest control plan, it's important to understand which pests are included and which are not. Typical plans cover a wide range of pests such as ants, spiders, cockroaches, and rodents. However, most basic plans exclude more complex infestations like termites, bed bugs, and certain types of wildlife, which usually require specialized treatment and are often more costly to manage.

Understanding Contracts

Pest control contracts in Cheltenham often imply a commitment to a year-round service, but flexibility is a common feature. Many companies offer the ability to cancel the service at any time, often without a penalty, promoting customer satisfaction and confidence in their services.

Service Guarantees

A cornerstone of trustworthy pest control services is the guarantee. If pests return between scheduled treatments, companies typically pledge to provide additional services at no extra charge, ensuring continued protection for your home.

Treatment Expectations

During a pest control treatment, technicians will inspect your property, identify areas of concern, and apply appropriate treatments to targeted areas. Homeowners can expect these professionals to use methods approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and to implement measures that are safe for families and pets.

Bundling Services for Savings

Homeowners may save money by bundling various pest control services. Many providers offer discounts when combining general pest control with termite, mosquito, or tick treatments, offering comprehensive protection and better value.

Managing Specialty Pests

For specialized pests such as termites, bed bugs, and certain rodents, additional pest control plans are available. These pests often require more intensive and targeted treatments, which are reflected in the cost of service.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Service

While some providers offer one-time treatments for immediate pest issues, most advocate for recurring services to prevent future infestations. The choice between the two will depend on the homeowner's needs and the specific pest pressure experienced.
