I have a bi-level home w/ ENORMOUS WOLF SPIDERS in my garage that connects to my bottom living room, while we have not completely eradicated the issue yet, my reason for leaving a review is really about my technician, Dominique Day. He is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful, professional, and always on time. I think he deserves recognition from leadership. I will continue to use Ehrlich, even though we haven not fully resolved my spider issue, because of Dominique.

Second time using Ehrlich's. Rick was pleasant, personable and informative.

My service tech is awesome. He makes sure my home is pest free. Only thing I don’t care for is the scheduling tool they have moved to. Sometimes a 2-3 day notice isn’t the most convenient to schedule around. It would be ideal if when my service tech was leaving we could discuss a mutually convenient time to schedule ahead.

We had Chris today who can by and he was so polite and great. Actually, all of the people from your company that came by were excellent! We also had another guy named Darrell that came by a few months ago and he was just so knowledgeable and just a great guy! Please let them know that they did a really awesome job! Thank you!!!

8/20/20 A few days ago I saw a groundhog eating green grass and minding it's own business on the school property of Luther Jackson Middle School. Evidently a family of groundhog has made its home on the school grounds. I have seen the cute animal in different areas of the football fields. Evidently the green grass and the water source makes this area a hot commodity. Today; however, all this has come to an end. I saw to bages with black bags to hold these animals. I don't know if they are alive or dead, but one way or another they are being transferred off of school grounds. How many groundhogs were living on school property? I do not know. The guy I met who seemed to be the manager said "the groundhogs would be transferred." Yeah, but to where? I enjoyed seeing some wildlife other than humans and dogs. It saddens me I won't see more of these furry little guys. Aside from this, the Critter Control d ij d their jobs.

Jordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.

Sue B.via Google

I would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.

Rick T.via Google

Very polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.

Understanding Pest Control Costs in Catonsville, Maryland

Homeowners in Catonsville, Maryland, looking to protect their property from unwanted pests may find themselves faced with a variety of service options and pricing structures. On average, pest control services in the area range from general prevention plans to specialized treatments against more tenacious pests. Costs are influenced by several factors including property size, infestation level, and the specific pest control plan chosen. In general, residents can expect to pay an initial fee followed by monthly or quarterly fees, depending on the ongoing nature of the service.

Pest Control Service Pricing Overview

For residents in Catonsville, Maryland, expecting to keep their homes pest-free, budgeting for pest control services is an essential consideration. Initial fees typically serve as a starting point for services, with an average cost range from $175 to $350. Following the initial treatment, homeowners will likely incur a monthly fee to maintain a pest-controlled environment. These recurring fees can fluctuate between $40 to $100 per month, depending on the size of the property and the severity of the pest problem. It's important to note that these costs can be affected by promotions, with discounts often available that might reduce the initial outlay.

Pest Coverage: What's Included and What's Not

Included Pests

When signing up for pest control services, Catonsville homeowners can expect coverage for a comprehensive list of common household pests. These typically include various species of ants, spiders, roaches, rodents, and more. The goal is to intercept these pests at different stages of their life cycles, providing year-round protection and peace of mind.

Exclusions

However, not all pests are included in general pest control plans. Specialty pests like termites, bed bugs, and certain types of wildlife often require additional, targeted treatment plans. It's vital to clarify with service providers which pests are covered under standard plans and which will entail extra costs.

Service Contracts: Understanding the Commitment

Opting into pest control services frequently means agreeing to a service contract. These contracts may range from a single year to multiple years and often outline the frequency of treatments, guarantees, and cancellation policies. In Catonsville, homeowners should review these contracts carefully to understand their commitments and the provisions for service cancellations, which might include a penalty fee.

Satisfaction Guarantees: Ensuring Peace of Mind

Many pest control companies offer satisfaction guarantees to back their services. This assurance typically means that if pests return between regular treatments, additional service calls will be performed at no extra charge. Such guarantees are an essential factor for homeowners to consider, as they provide added confidence in the effectiveness of the pest control measures.

Treatment Procedures: A Peek Behind the Scenes

Initial and Recurring Services

The first visit from a pest control professional usually involves a thorough assessment and initial treatment to address any current pest issues. Following this, regular treatments are scheduled to maintain a pest-free environment. The specifics of these treatments can vary but often include both interior and exterior measures designed to prevent pests from entering the home.

Bundling and Add-Ons: Customizing Your Pest Control

For additional savings, homeowners in Catonsville may consider bundling various pest control services. Add-ons such as mosquito treatment or tick control can be included for comprehensive coverage. Companies often incentivize these packages with significant discounts, making them an attractive option for those looking to cover multiple pest control needs in one plan.

Addressing Specialty Pests: Beyond the Basics

While general pest control plans cover a wide array of critters, some nuisances require specialized attention. Termites, bed bugs, and certain types of rodents or wildlife fall into this category. Homeowners dealing with these particular pests will need to explore dedicated treatment plans that are equipped to handle these more challenging infestations effectively.

Choosing the Right Service Frequency: One-Time vs. Recurring

Deciding between one-time treatments and ongoing service plans is a critical choice for homeowners. While one-time services may address immediate concerns, recurring services are designed to offer long-term solutions and preventative care. It's worth considering the long-term benefits and potential cost savings of opting for a continuous service plan over occasional one-time treatments.
