When I had and needed the service it was great. Giovanni the service tech did a great job every month. Now three months ago I've canceled my service at the end of the contract and since then they've charged my debit card and returned it, send me invoices every month with charges that each month they've corrected and yet I still get monthly texts of time and dates they'll be at my home to service. Now I've received another invoice after thinking I cleared everything up with Tracy last month and now another text of service. I'm now trying to reach Mr. Frazier the Branch manager to see if it's possible to cancel my service and no longer be charged and have to clear this up every month.

Love our Orkin guy, Tim. He is the perfect guy for a job like this. He is friendly, professional and most of all, trustworthy. I don’t bat an eye at him coming into and around our home. I know he wants to retire, but to be honest we are (selfishly) not looking forward to that day!

Jena R. via google

We just purchased a new (to us) home and it wasn’t kept up. We knew moving in we would have to take care of some things and one of those things was to have Orkin out. They were professional, quick to answer the phone, helpful as we explained what we wanted, and the tech who came out was just as professional, on time, worked quickly and efficiently while explaining the issues and the plan ahead.

Joshua was a very helpful, empathetic, knowledgeable and resourceful person. We would not mind making recommendation of Terminix to all people we know. This is because the no-fuss Terminix customer service policy, and the Terminix personnel. This compliment should go to the hiring manager who chose the very right person to the very right job. All technicians who came to our house have been exemplary - whether it be Cory Lee and most recently Joshua Hall. These are the kind of guys that every organization wants!!!

We contacted Terminix to come out to do a termite inspection and had the pleasure of working with Mike Malone and Rich Austin. When coming to do initial inspection last week, Mike was flexible with scheduling and called 30 minutes before as agreed before arriving. We had several companies provide inspections and Mike was the most knowledgeable and helpful of anyone we've worked with from any company. He and Rich were very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. Rich was the technician and we were particularly impressed that before he did the treatment, he came into our home specifically to ask us if we had any questions before he started. We chose Terminix because the treatment plan was better than competitors, we trusted the answers that we got from Mike and our research leading up to our selection matched with what we learned from various independent sources. We also signed up for quarterly pest control to prevent bugs, mice, etc. If results of treatment and future service matches our experience so far, we'll be very happy, long-term customers.

It has been great. We've been using them for five years. The man that comes out to service our house, we deal with him on a first-name basis. He's very pleasant, very efficient and he doesn't hesitate to come back if we have issues during the quarter. They charge $74 every quarter. We just moved recently and we have the same provider who services our new home.

It works out very well. I am very pleased with them. They have serviced my house for several years. I subscribe for the entire year and they come to spray. The price is fair.

Terminix is always great. For the pest conrol, they treat inside and outside of the house and they always ask us if we're having trouble with specific critters or anything. If I have something that needs attention in between service, they're always happy to come out and take care of it. Their pest control works for one thing, I'd say that's the best thing and the personnel themselves are very nice. As a matter of fact, we've used them consistently from three houses ago. We've kept them going from house to house.

Understanding Pest Control Costs in Terre Haute, Indiana

For homeowners in Terre Haute, Indiana, managing pest invasions is a critical concern. The cost of professional pest control services can vary widely, influenced by factors such as property size, level of pest infestation, and the specific treatment plans required. Typically, homeowners can expect to pay a one-time initial fee followed by recurring monthly charges, if a maintenance plan is selected. An initial pest control visit may range from $175 to $400, with monthly follow-up treatments averaging between $40 to $100. These fees can fluctuate based on the complexity of the pest situation and the thoroughness of the service needed.

Pests Included and Exclusions

When considering pest control services, it's essential to recognize which pests are included in standard plans and those that require specialized attention. General pest management commonly covers critters like ants, spiders, roaches, and mice. However, more persistent pests, such as termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife, often necessitate dedicated treatment programs not included in basic packages.

Service Contracts

Signing up for pest control typically involves a service agreement. While some companies offer the flexibility to cancel at any time, others may require a one-year commitment or more. It's crucial for homeowners to understand the terms and conditions of these contracts to align with their pest management needs and expectations.

Satisfaction Guarantees

Reputable pest control providers stand by their services with a satisfaction guarantee. These assurances promise that if pests persist after treatment, additional services will be provided at no extra cost. This guarantee underlines the company's commitment to keeping your home pest-free.

Treatment Expectations

The initial pest control treatment is comprehensive, targeting both the interior and exterior of your home to establish a strong defense against pests. Follow-up visits are focused on maintaining this barrier and addressing any new pest activity, ensuring ongoing protection throughout the year.

Bundling Services for Savings

Many pest control companies incentivize homeowners with savings opportunities through bundled services. Combining general pest control with termite or mosquito treatment, for instance, can lead to significant cost reductions while enhancing the overall effectiveness of the pest management program.

Handling Specialty Pests

Certain pests, such as termites, bed bugs, and wildlife, demand specialized treatment plans. These services are often separate from standard pest control packages and are delivered by technicians with specific expertise in handling these more challenging infestations.

Comparing One-Time and Recurring Services

Homeowners must decide between one-time treatments or ongoing pest management plans. While one-time services address immediate issues, recurring services provide continuous prevention, early detection, and peace of mind knowing that the home remains under vigilant protection from pests.
