I have a bi-level home w/ ENORMOUS WOLF SPIDERS in my garage that connects to my bottom living room, while we have not completely eradicated the issue yet, my reason for leaving a review is really about my technician, Dominique Day. He is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful, professional, and always on time. I think he deserves recognition from leadership. I will continue to use Ehrlich, even though we haven not fully resolved my spider issue, because of Dominique.

Second time using Ehrlich's. Rick was pleasant, personable and informative.

My service tech is awesome. He makes sure my home is pest free. Only thing I don’t care for is the scheduling tool they have moved to. Sometimes a 2-3 day notice isn’t the most convenient to schedule around. It would be ideal if when my service tech was leaving we could discuss a mutually convenient time to schedule ahead.

We had Chris today who can by and he was so polite and great. Actually, all of the people from your company that came by were excellent! We also had another guy named Darrell that came by a few months ago and he was just so knowledgeable and just a great guy! Please let them know that they did a really awesome job! Thank you!!!

I am so happy to work Orkin, all staff knowledgeable, hardworking. They offer reasonable price and excellent service !

The Orkin representative, Frank, was very professional and thorough. He arrived on time as promised, and determined that it was a large and dangerous hornets nest in the tree by our drive-way. He outlined precisely how he would deal with it as well as safety precautions we needed to follow. His manner was professional and reassuring. I was very happy with prompt response and quick resoltion from Orkin and would highly recommend the firm for pest control

Orkin service technicians have always shown up reliably at the appropriate inspection times. At my most recent inspection the technician (Mike) took the added time and effort to almost completely rebuild my antiquated system. He replaced all of the old and buried Centricon stations with the most recent versions. He apologized that it had not been maintained as it should have been since many of the old stations were so buried they couldn’t be read by the meter reader. It was a very hot sunny day and he could have easily let it slide but instead chose integrity and pride of workmanship. Much gratitude Mike for a job well done!

Both the inspector and exterminator were courteous, on time, knowledgeable, and professional. The service was extremely responsive, worked with my schedule, used my preferred method of contact, and offered multiple payment options. The service was expensive as compared to online estimations for price in my area, however I did not have to take off work saving me the cost of lost wages and were considerate as to when in the time block was better for me, the company has strong brand recognition, and they were able to address my needs immediately after a swarm was detected, saving me from damage occurring while I waited for service.

Helen P. via google

Called and asked Orkin to come out had seen multiple baby mice in the condo. They completely missed the 1st appt but the regional manager called me and they showed on time for the 2nd. Tech was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Felt super comfortable having him in my home alone. The only thing that bothers me was that the only sent a tech. He wa there 3 minutes before he told me my job needed a home inspector since there were multiple mice seen. I told them that at the initial phone consultation. I should not have to wait for another appointment to get the real job done. I took time off of my job for no reason. Now I have take take more time off for an inspection guy to come. So the tech who came was great and not his fault the appt was not staffed correctly. 10 for the I, 2 for scheduling.

Comprehensive Pest Control Services in Chantilly, VA

Homeowners in Chantilly, Virginia looking to protect their homes from unwanted guests of the insect and rodent variety can expect a range of pest control services to fit their needs. Pricing for these services can vary based on several factors, including home size, pest severity, and treatment frequency. On average, initial fees for starting a pest control service can range from $175 to $399, with subsequent monthly fees for a standard plan ranging from $40 to $100. It's important to consider that these prices can change based on the company and specific service offerings, but these ranges provide a baseline for what one might expect when budgeting for pest defense.

Service Costs and Pricing Breakdowns

When considering pest control services in Chantilly, VA, homeowners should anticipate an initial setup fee, which covers the initial assessment and first round of treatment. This fee often ranges from $175 to $399, depending on the complexity of the job and the company chosen. After the initial treatment, companies typically offer monthly or quarterly plans, which can cost between $40 to $100 per month. These plans usually include regular inspections, treatments, and preventive measures to keep pests at bay. It's important to note that while these costs may seem like an investment, they are crucial for maintaining a pest-free home and avoiding more costly infestations in the future.

Understanding Pest Coverage

What's Included

Pest control plans often include a list of common household pests such as ants, spiders, roaches, mice, and more. However, it's essential to review the specifics of what each plan covers, as some pests, like termites and bed bugs, may require specialized treatment and are not typically included in standard plans. Understanding the coverage will help homeowners ensure they are getting the protection they need for their specific pest concerns.

Notable Exclusions

Certain pests are notoriously challenging to manage and may not be included in general pest control plans. These can include termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife. For these pests, homeowners may need to consider additional, more targeted pest control services. Knowing what is not included is as important as knowing what is covered to avoid unexpected issues and costs.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Some homeowners may prefer a one-off treatment for a sudden pest issue, while others might opt for ongoing service to prevent future infestations. It's important to consider the long-term benefits of a recurring service, which provides continuous monitoring and treatment, minimizing the risk of pests establishing themselves in the home. On the other hand, for those facing a single pest problem, a one-time treatment might be the most cost-effective solution.

Contracts and Commitment

When signing up for a pest control service, understanding the contract and service agreement is vital. Some companies require a yearly commitment, while others offer more flexible plans that allow homeowners to cancel at any time without a penalty. Homeowners should review the terms carefully to make an informed decision that aligns with their needs and comfort level.

Guaranteed Satisfaction

A key factor when choosing a pest control provider is the guarantee they offer. Homeowners should look for companies that provide a promise of satisfaction, often including a return service at no additional cost if pests persist after treatment. This guarantee provides peace of mind and ensures that homeowners are not left with unresolved pest problems after the service.

Additional Services and Bundling Opportunities

Many pest control companies offer the option to add on services such as mosquito control or termite inspections. Bundling these services can lead to savings and provide more comprehensive protection for the home. Homeowners should inquire about these opportunities to maximize their pest control plan's effectiveness while potentially reducing overall costs.

Treatment Day: What to Expect

On the day of treatment, homeowners can expect a thorough inspection of their property, both inside and out. Technicians typically treat the home's perimeter, key entry points, and any problem areas identified during the inspection. It's important for homeowners to prepare for this visit by ensuring access to these areas and following any specific instructions provided by the pest control company.
