Orkin is always professional and timely with their services. Their office is quite accommodating with rescheduling appointments and being flexible at a moments notice with no questions asked. Their customer service is above par serving the Fredericksburg/Bowling Green Area. Thank you!

So far Orkin has been more than awesome….I can possibly say that they have made me feel comfortable. I like the fact that they have a home inspector come out for your initial visit because that allows the homeowner to know what’s going on with the home and how to treat the long term issues….my home inspector was OJ and my tech well I forgot his name lol but the both of them were awesome ??

Monique C. via google

I have been with Orkin for years and they are great! Any issues I have are addressed even between visits. We have moved a few times and they have not had a problem with switching our residence each time. Their staff are awesome and very friendly and helpful. Anything that we have needed, they have always been there for us.

Great customer service. Turnaround time was quick. Chris was very knowledgeable and informative. Can't ask for better

We started having a major issue with ants earlier this year and finally gave in to hire professionals. We saw improvement immediately. Most recently, our family was unexpectedly on our way out of town when the tech arrived and I realized I'd forgotten to reschedule. We were rushing around trying to get our family together so he kindly offered to just handle the outside and let us reschedule the inside when it is convenient. He was friendly and did not appear put out. We were already under stress so his attitude was very appreciated.

Trutech has a courteous, professional team. I interacted with three different employees in getting the service I required and each was respectful and informative. Despite being warned that the service might take about 2 weeks it was fully completed the day after the initial inspection and proposal. The team was also very accommodating of my schedule. I recommend Trutech highly.

Snake deterrent. Put down deterrents and devices around property of my home on pond. They also inspected property and shed to ensure no snakes or nests were found. They’ll come monthly and in between if I see any snakes they will come to remove them. Since they’ve come I haven’t seen any repeat visits by snakes. When I called they were very nice to work with, took detailed information, including pictures and scheduled the initial visit within a week. So far I’m very pleased to be snake free, so are my kids and Jack Russell’s!

I have had a great experience with Critter Control. They come each month as scheduled and text when they are on their way to my home. I haven’t had an issue with rodents or bugs since I’ve been using their service!

Lathesha B. via google

Critter Control has helped to keep the critters out of our building in a heavily wooded and swampy section of Va Beach. The pest control product they use for bugs is keeping the bugs at bay too. They are a good and knowledgeable company to work with. We appreciate their nice staff too!

They were great. I called for a snake removal, and they came right away.

Your technician was courteous, nice, and explained everything to our satisfaction. He installed some mousetraps in our kitchen and suggested we have an external rodent barrier installed. He called the office and made an appointment for somebody from your company come and give us an estimate.

Ajit A. Y. T. via google

Terminix finally solved a mouse infestation that two other companies only made worse with their baiting methods. Within minutes of the exclusion technician's inspection of our home, he identified multiple possible entry points that the other companies missed completely. The service was incredibly fast, professional, and has provided us with relief after over a year and a half trying to solve the problem. Our house finally feels comfortable again!

Steve R. is the best pest control guy we have ever had. He always arrives on time, he's really cool, and he is easy to schedule appointments with and is very flexible. He's also great about spot treatment if for whatever reason the season gets really wet or something and the bugs come back earlier- he'll come right out if you ask and just retreat everything. We rest easy knowing our place is bug free, and that is all thanks to Steve. Hes a really nice guy and a great pest control technician. Thanks for the help, Steve- happy holidays and see you soon!

Re: Steven R. #1566 I would like to acknowledge Steven R. #1566. In a world where good customer service is becoming extinct, Steven R. has provided the best service consistently throughout the years that I have been a Terminex customer. He arrives on time, inquires about any problems that he might be able to address, explains the process so we can understand it, asks if we have any questions, and, if we have any, he answers them thoroughly while providing exemplary pest control service. We are very satisfied with the service that Steven R. provides. Thank you for choosing Steven R. to provide our service. - J Benton, Virginia Beach

Common Pest Problems

Virginia residents often face various pest-related challenges in their homes or businesses. One common issue is dealing with ants, particularly the odorous house ant. These tiny insects can invade homes in large numbers, searching for food and water sources. Their presence can be a nuisance and, if left uncontrolled, can lead to infestations. Another prevalent pest in Virginia is the brown marmorated stink bug. These shield-shaped insects are known for their unpleasant odor and can become a significant nuisance during the fall when they seek shelter in homes and buildings to overwinter.

Rodents, such as mice and rats, are also a concern for Virginia residents. These pests can cause extensive damage to properties through chewing on wires, insulation, and building materials. Moreover, they can transmit diseases and contaminate food. Mosquitoes are another pest that plagues the state, especially during the warmer months. Not only are mosquito bites annoying and itchy, but these bloodsucking insects can also transmit diseases such as West Nile virus and Zika virus.

While residents may attempt DIY pest control methods, seeking professional pest control services is often the most effective way to address these issues. Pest control experts have the specialized knowledge, experience, and resources to identify and target specific pests, implementing tailored solutions to eliminate infestations and prevent future problems. By enlisting the expertise of a pest control company, Virginians can enjoy a pest-free environment while protecting their homes and businesses from the damages and health risks associated with pests.
