This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

My technician is Carlos Serrato. He is professional, on time, and completes the monthly inspection in an excellent manner. Up to the point of using Truly Nolen, I had experienced a great deal of difficulty with pack rats. Carlos has kept them "at bay"!!! Additionally when I found a growth of these very smart rats behind my home, Truly Nolen responded immediately.

Understanding Pest Control Services in Tucson, Arizona

In the sunny city of Tucson, Arizona, homeowners often face a variety of pest-related issues due to the warm climate that serves as a breeding ground for various insects and rodents. Pest control services in this region offer several plans to combat these unwelcome visitors, with pricing that generally varies based on several factors. These include the size of the property, the extent of the infestation, and the frequency of treatment required. On average, residents can expect to pay an initial fee ranging from $175 to $400, with subsequent monthly fees for recurring services between $40 and $100. However, the exact cost may differ, so it's essential to get a custom quote from your chosen pest control service provider.

Pest Coverage and Exclusions

Pest control plans in Tucson generally offer coverage for a wide array of common household pests. These typically include ants, cockroaches, spiders, rodents, and more. However, it's important to note that not all pests are covered under standard plans. Pests such as termites, bed bugs, and certain species of wildlife may require specialized treatment plans. Some services also exclude treatment for specific nuisances like honey bees, flies, and mosquitoes unless additional coverage is purchased.

Service Contracts

When signing up for pest control services, homeowners will often enter into a service contract. These agreements can range from a single treatment to annual plans that provide ongoing protection. It's crucial to understand the terms of your contract, as some may have cancellation fees or penalties if the service is terminated before the end of the agreement term.

Satisfaction Guarantees

Many pest control companies offer satisfaction guarantees, which promise that if pests return between scheduled treatments, technicians will return to address the problem at no additional cost. This guarantee provides homeowners with peace of mind, knowing that their home will remain pest-free or the service will be rectified.

Treatment Expectations

A typical pest control treatment involves an initial assessment of the property, followed by the application of treatments to target and prevent pest activity. This may include sealing entry points, applying pesticides, and setting traps. Subsequent treatments are usually less intensive but remain vital for maintaining a pest-free environment.

Bundling and Additional Services

To save on costs, homeowners can often bundle various pest control services. For example, combining general pest control with termite treatment may result in significant savings. Additionally, services may offer add-ons such as mosquito treatment for an extra fee, enhancing the scope of protection for the property.

Specialty Pest Treatment

Some pests, such as termites, bed bugs, and various types of wildlife, require targeted eradication methods. While general pest control plans cover many common pests, these specialty pests often need a more focused approach, which could involve different treatment techniques and may come at a higher cost.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

One-time services are suitable for addressing a specific, isolated pest issue, but they may not prevent future infestations. Recurring services, on the other hand, offer ongoing protection against a broader range of pests and typically involve regular inspections and treatments to ensure lasting results. Homeowners will need to consider the long-term benefits against the costs when deciding between these options.
