The 3 try worked, 1st 2 techs they sent out did not do anything. 3rd guy was phenomenal. Their customer service needs an over haul, but the tech we had today was great.

Our exterminator himself was nice- but the communication was horrible. Was supposed to have someone at our home between 10-12. At 1155, I called and they had to call him. He was running late and wouldn’t be there until around 1. We decided to reschedule. But apparently, they do not communicate with each other. He showed up at 130. When I called the office to let them know to cancel my appointment for tomorrow, they said they had no idea I cancelled. Which, I have a text from ORKIN, confirming the rescheduled appointment. The lady rudely apologized, and just confirmed my next appointment. I highly doubt we will continue with Orkin.

As a home builder I can confidently say this was hands down the best experience I’ve had with an exterminator. Called Wednesday (scheduling was a breeze) and Aaron not only came out and inspected the home but he also inspected the entire property, with our very short time window he insisted he’d come out tomorrow along with his crew to ensure everything went smoothly. They were on site first thing in the morning(as promised) and were as thorough as could be. He expressed his concerns and for each concern he provided a detailed solution, and not just the one’s Orkin provided, which was a clear indication that he genuinely just wanted us and the homeowner taken care of. No where else will you find this level of quality and quantity, 10 out of 10. Thanks again Aaron!

Jordan is amazing! I’ve had an issue since I have moved into this home. The landlord has had multiple people out and the problem is never fixed. Since I’ve had Orkin come out we have not had an issue. Definitely worth the money spent.

Eric has always been professional and willing to combat any pest issue we have had. With us living in the country he has shown true knowledge and understanding of our home size needs and requirements. He has been awesome!

Update on my review. The new manager in Tyler, Justin, worked with me so I could have a workable service arrangement. Upping the stars for their willingness to make it work.

Al S. (. via google

Texted me before arriving, came to door to ask if I had issues inside which I did not. Tech proceeded to service outside of house. I always have a good experience with Terminix. Great service!

Lori R. via google

Wish that we could choose the date and time for these inspections. Had an appointment for April and received a call a couple of days prior that you were coming in the middle of March. We made the appointment in April for our convenience and you charge it on the fly. Not good customer service.

Covered and Uncovered Pests

When selecting a pest control plan, it's important to understand which pests are included and which are not. Standard plans commonly protect against a variety of pests, such as ants, roaches, spiders, millipedes, centipedes, silverfish, and wasps. However, some pests like termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife may not be covered under general plans and typically require specialized treatment. Knowing which pests are prevalent in your area and which ones pose the biggest threat to your home will help you choose the right plan.

Understanding Contracts

Most pest control companies offer service agreements that detail the terms and frequency of treatments. In Tyler, contracts may range from one-time services to annual plans, with some providers requiring a one or two-year commitment. Cancellation policies vary, with some companies imposing fees for early termination and others allowing cancellation at any time, often with a full or partial refund.

Satisfaction Guarantees

A firm's guarantee is a testament to the confidence they have in their services. In Tyler, many pest control providers offer some form of satisfaction guarantee, pledging to re-treat your property at no additional cost if pests return between scheduled visits. This ensures ongoing protection and peace of mind for homeowners.

What to Expect During a Treatment

Professional pest control treatments typically involve an initial inspection to identify problem areas, followed by the application of approved pesticides both inside and outside the home. Treatment plans may also include sealing entry points to prevent future infestations. The specifics of the treatment will vary based on the targeted pests and the chosen plan.

Bundling Services and Add-Ons

To maximize protection and value, some Tyler pest control services offer bundled plans that combine general pest control with termite, mosquito, or rodent treatments. Add-on services for pests not covered by standard plans are also available and can often be customized to meet your specific needs. Bundling services can lead to significant cost savings over time.

Targeting Specialty Pests

For pests that require unique treatment approaches, such as termites, bed bugs, and certain types of wildlife, specialized services are available. These treatments usually involve more advanced techniques and can incur additional costs, reflecting the specialized knowledge and equipment required.

Deciding Between One-Time and Recurring Services

While a one-time service may be sufficient for minor or isolated pest issues, recurring services provide ongoing prevention and control, often necessary in areas with persistent pest problems. Recurring services can be more cost-effective in the long run, preventing infestations before they begin and dealing with seasonal pest activity.
