My review is for my technician Corey, not necessarily Fox Pest Control, who I’d give a lesser rating. I have been fighting a 3 year battle with black carpet beetles. They were coming out of an outlet in my kitchen and in a hole in the wall behind the dishwasher directly below the outlet. I had fox pest control come out initially and they sprayed. It seemed like the problem was controlled, but they came back the last spring. I had Fox come back again. The technician that came out seemed more interested on signing me to a maintenance contract than treating my bug problem. I told him that this was the exact same place that i had them last spring and that i wondered in there was something bigger in the wall. He assured me that he could treat it so i signed up. I told him that i was concerned that they would return and said that i wanted an indoor treatment every time they came out for maintenance. The beetles continued to come out of my wall and i had them come out 3 times to spray. They did an indoor treatment once then said there was no sign so stopped doing indoor treatments. Guess what? They came back again this spring in the exact same spot. I’ve had Fox out spaying my kitchen 4 times this year. I’ve told each technician (3 different techs) that this is an ongoing issue that their surface treatments are not working. I’ve expressed concern that there is something bigger going on rather than a few rouge beetles. Corey is the only one that has listened to me. He did a standard treatment, but then called me back to follow up. When I told him it wasn’t working he agreed that surface treatment may not work and that we may need to get more aggressive and see what’s in the wall. I opened the wall and found a monster of a nest. Corey came back today and, because he admittedly didn’t have much experience with carpet beetles, brought Tom. They have finally done something more than putting down powder and spraying my baseboards which was like peeing on a bonfire. I had offered to open the wall to each technician that has come out here last year and this; it should not have taken 3 summers to treat this problem. I am finally optimistic that my problem is solved. My great appreciation for Corey for listening to me and taking the initiative to strive to solve this infestation. I felt that he has been invested in helping me, and was not just here to do a job. Every technician should strive to provide the same level of service that I have received from Corey. The old adage, “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results,” didn’t apply to him, while it has with the every one else. Thank you.
