The fact that they do come unsolicited to your door and will still try and sell you products even after you’re paying a monthly fee is definitely not great. That being said, every tech I’ve had out to my house has been very knowledgeable, professional and took the time needed to get the job done well and asked me if there were any concerns I’ve had. I’ve also had them out a few times free of charge and it’s been working out good. So they’re probably not going to be your cheapest option but so far I’ve felt good about my purchase. It does not feel they are out to scam you.
Brendan C. via googleReuben was absolutely fantastic! Best person we have had come to our home for pest control in a very long time!! He let us know he was at the house, was extremely polite, and went above and beyond when we had questions! We hope he becomes our regular guy that comes from Fox Pest to our house!!
Jennifer O. via googleBee’s Nest Removed Paul was very polite and personable. Paul identified the bee’s nest and the type of bees inside and explained the process he would be following to remove the large nest from a tree very close to our house. He answered all my questions and even walked around my house with me to assure me there were no other bees taking up residence anywhere. My son and I watch from a bedroom window as he removed the nest and it was exactly as he had explained. We were shocked to see the amount of bees that came charging out of that nest when he sprayed inside it and as he had advised they were VERY ANGRY! It took 4 or five good whacks to get it out of the tree and it came down in one large piece with other smaller pieces. Paul cleared the area of all the debris and advised we stay away from the area for 3-4 days so any bees that had been living in that nest had plenty of time to relocate. There were many very agitated bees still zipping around the tree area for a couple hours after. We are steering clear until the weekend. I let a neighbor whose yard abuts that area know as well so they would stay away. While I do not wish to have any more nests that need to be removed, knowing I can call Fox and ask for Paul eases my mind should we need this service again. He is a very confident and reassuring technician and put my mind at ease over an issue that had me very concerned. Thank you, Lisa

Pricing Breakdown for Pest Control Services
Homeowners in Exeter, New Hampshire can expect the pest control service costs to vary based on several key factors. The initial fee serves as the entry point to comprehensive pest management, with subsequent monthly fees ensuring ongoing protection. This initial investment typically covers the assessment phase, treatment setup, and commencement of regular monitoring. On average, for an average-sized home, the monthly fees for general pest control services fluctuate between $40 to $100, while the initial service may cost between $175 to $350. It's crucial for homeowners to verify the specifics with service providers, as the prices can be influenced by the home's size, infestation level, and treatment strategies.
Essential Coverage: Pests Included and Excluded
The scope of pest control services encompasses a wide range of common household pests. Typically, a standard plan might cover ants, spiders, rodents, cockroaches, and many other pervasive pests. However, it's important to note that certain pests, like termites, bed bugs, and specific wildlife, might require specialized plans. Moreover, some services might not include treatment for pests like honey bees, mosquitoes, or particular species of spiders. Homeowners should inquire about comprehensive lists of included and excluded pests to align their expectations with the services offered.
Understanding Contracts and Obligations
Entering into a pest control service agreement usually involves a contractual commitment, which varies in length from one to multiple years. These contracts outline the terms of service, frequency of visits, and often include a clause that allows homeowners to cancel without severe penalties. It's essential to review the details of the contract thoroughly to understand the commitment and ensure it aligns with your pest control needs.
The Assurance of Service Guarantees
Guarantees in pest control offer homeowners peace of mind, ensuring that if pest problems persist, the service provider will return to address the issues at no additional cost. Most companies offer a time-specific guarantee, such as 30 days, during which return visits are covered. This policy reinforces the service provider's commitment to effective pest management and customer satisfaction.
Expectations During a Pest Control Visit
During a pest control visit, technicians typically perform an inspection, identify problem areas, and apply treatments tailored to the home's specific pest challenges. Treatment may include interior applications in areas like kitchens and bathrooms, as well as exterior treatments around the home's foundation and yard. Homeowners will receive a report detailing the services performed and recommendations for ongoing pest prevention.
Advantages of Bundling and Additional Services
Many pest control companies offer the option to bundle various services, such as termite inspections and mosquito treatments, with general pest control for added savings. These bundled packages can be more cost-effective and provide a more comprehensive approach to managing multiple pest issues. Homeowners should consider their unique situation and the potential benefits of bundled services when selecting a pest control plan.
Specialty Pest Treatments
While general pest control plans cover a vast array of common pests, there are instances where homeowners may encounter pests that require specialized treatment plans, such as termites, bed bugs, or wildlife. These situations often necessitate tailored solutions and expertise, which may be provided by the same company or might require reaching out to specialized service providers.
Deciding Between One-Time and Recurring Services
Homeowners must decide between one-time treatments, which offer a temporary solution for an immediate pest problem, and recurring services that provide ongoing prevention and control. Recurring services are typically more effective in the long term, as they address the lifecycle of pests and provide continuous monitoring and management. One-time treatments may not be guaranteed, and while they may resolve the immediate issue, they don't prevent re-infestation.
