Our Orkin guy was amazing. He not only sprayed really good he interacted with us and was so kind doing. Please keep this young man on your team. I’d definitely love to see him back out to our home regularly.

Kenneth did an excellent job. He identified three large wasp nests of the aggressive breed in our chicken feed storage shed, as well as a mouse family. I am so happy the wasps are gone, it was really making feeding my chickens a nightmare since I'm afraid of bees, wasps, and other sting-y types of insects. Thank you so much, we appreciate it!

Mr Sprengeler was my service specialist. He did a very good job on my first service and explained everything good that he was doing. Very nice gentleman the company should be veryhappy to have him. Was a way better experience than with past company I am replacing with this new service. Overall very pleased with the first look at this company. Keep up the good work. Thank you

Richard H. via google

The service part of our experience was great! The inspector seemed very knowledgeable about our situation and I felt confident we would be taken care of. The technicians we interacted with were all very polite and respectful of our home while they were here. The main issue we had was communication. I felt there was a major disconnect between the information relayed between the inspector, the technicians and the person in charge of scheduling the service. After our inspection I was given a date for the service to be completed so I took off work to be at home and no one showed up. I called mid morning and they said a technician would be here that afternoon. They showed up around 3:00, started working and realized they were not prepared to complete the job so they had to reschedule. We scheduled for another day (so I again took off work) and no one showed up that morning so I called and they said the inspector was coming back at 4:00 that day (no work to be completed). Inspector came back, adjusted the work plan and then rescheduled us again. We then were finally serviced. We were not kept up to date on what time someone would be here or who would be arriving like we are normally notified for our monthly services with emails, texts, etc. We love our monthly service from Orkin but we may not be a returning customer for any other major issues in the future.

So easy to work with! We signed up to have some ants taken care of and they were out the next day. Everything was taken care of and they’ve checked back in a few time to make sure we’ve had no additional issues. Highly recommend.

Kelly-ann O. via google

Terminex provides an excellent service for a fair price. Bradley, the service tech is always thorough, courteous, and prompt. My house is free of any termites and insects thanks to Terminex. I highly recommend them.

Michael H. via google

Kevin from Terminix deserves more than just 5 stars! His professionalism, expertise, and dedication to solving my pest issues were truly exceptional. Not only did he effectively address my concerns, but he also provided invaluable advice to prevent future problems. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone in need of pest control services. Terminix is lucky to have such a stellar representative!

Mandy B. via google

Great service. While the price was a bit higher than some of their competitors, it was worth the extra money to have great customer service. The person that came out to do the initial walk around was knowledgeable and kind. The tech that came out to spray was considerate with two dogs and three kids running around the house and did everything in a timely manner and was again, knowledgeable. The customer service agent that called me as part of the “welcome team” to ask how things went was very kind and personable and even helped me set up another appointment to have a tech come back out and spray our bathrooms for an ant problem (I didn’t have them spray in those rooms the first time due to dogs hiding out in there ).

Sean is polite, communicative, and explains things well. He also remembers from one treatment to the next the items that are of concern and is good about following up on those. I live in a wooded neighborhood and have very few insect sightings since I started using Aptive!

Shannon R. via google

Cory was knowledgeable about our mice problem and put my mind at ease with my many questions. He set up numerous traps and also found where they were coming in at. I am happy with the service that was provided and excited to get these mice out of here. Highly recommend!

Teri L. via google

I started using this service a few years ago. I was skeptical. Since then there is a huge improvement in the number of insects making their way into my 1890 house. In the winter there hasn’t been any mice coming in thanks to the bait they set outside. I haven’t had the mosquitoes in the summer that use to keep me from enjoying my deck. They also treat my next door neighbors yard so I'm sure that also helps. The price is fair for what they do.

Dan H. via google

So I don’t usually go with company’s that go door to door. But they showed up offering pest control at the exact time my wife and I were talking about it, the price was reasonable and the info was solid, so I signed up. 3 years later we still have them and still use them, and they do excellent work. If the ants get too bad in the spring/summer they come back and treat again without question or any extra fee, they will come in and treat if we are around and want them to, and they communicate very well. Price is still very reasonable, too. M very happy with their service!

Devin K. via google

Rob was very thorough and professional. I appreciate the advance notice of arrival, the detailed explanations of the products/treatment, and the photos of the actual service. Aptive has been great the last several years and I renewed our service with no hesitation.

Pests: The Covered and the Excluded

When selecting pest control services, it's crucial to understand the range of pests that are covered under a standard plan. Typically, plans include common invaders such as ants, spiders, roaches, mice, and more. However, it's equally important to note the pests that are not usually covered, like termites, bed bugs, and certain spider species, which often require specialized treatment plans. Knowing the scope of coverage ensures that you select a service that aligns with your specific pest control needs.

Service Contracts Explained

For many pest control plans, a service contract is a standard part of the agreement. These contracts typically span a year, ensuring regular inspections and treatments over this period. Although the thought of a contract might seem binding, most companies offer the flexibility to cancel at any time, often with a money-back guarantee if services do not meet expectations.

Guarantees for Peace of Mind

A standout feature of any pest control service is the guarantee offered. It's common for companies to promise customer satisfaction, often including free re-treatments between scheduled visits if pests persist. This commitment to keeping your home pest-free provides a safety net and peace of mind in your investment in professional pest management.

Treatment Day: What to Anticipate

On treatment day, professional exterminators will typically conduct a thorough assessment of your property, both inside and out. They'll identify problem areas, apply appropriate treatments, and provide recommendations to prevent future infestations. Expect specialists to target not just adult pests but also their breeding grounds to disrupt the lifecycle and provide long-term solutions.

Maximizing Value with Bundles and Add-Ons

Bundling different services can offer significant savings and more comprehensive protection for your home. Common bundle deals include combining general pest control with termite or mosquito treatments. Additionally, add-on services can address specific concerns, ensuring that your plan is as thorough as it is cost-effective.

Addressing Specialty Pests

While general pest control services cover a wide range of nuisances, residents may occasionally encounter pests requiring specialized attention, such as wildlife, termites, and bed bugs. Companies often have dedicated treatment plans for these particular pests, ensuring that the right methods and expertise are deployed to tackle these challenges effectively.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Deciding whether to opt for one-time or recurring services depends on the nature of your pest problem. A one-time service may suffice for an isolated issue, but recurring services offer ongoing prevention and control, catching potential infestations early and keeping your home consistently protected.
