Orkin was very quick to get me scheduled and get the servicing started. Jerald was super professional and very informative. He explained what he was doing so I would be well informed and did a very thorough job. This company and individual is absolutely 5 stars and is definitely highly recommended.

My technician was friendly and efficient. More importantly, he was prompt. When he was done he gave me more information and let me know what to do if I have any questions or concerns. Today is probably the first time I've been able to walk around my property without long sleeves on! That's a win!

Charity S. D. via google

I am highly satisfied with the Orkin service provided. Mikell demonstrates a friendly demeanour, possesses extensive knowledge, and consistently addresses my concerns effectively.

Katrin W. via google

My 1st time using Orkin, the process was very efficient. The technician Donovan was very respectful of property and time. Explained what he would be doing and using. The initial technician (Ms Oliver) did not bring the encastments thereby leaving mattresses the mattresses vulnerable to incests. When they returned with the encastments they were ill fitting. I then contacted the manager (MsAlisha) who stated the height size for the encastments did not very. The method used to eradicate the bugs was not effective. The next female could only place the interceptors on one bed because she could not lift the other beds by herself. Lastly, the end of September, they sent a gentleman technician (Mr Brunson) I believe. He was professional and efficient and effective in doing his job. He was able to correct the situation with the encastments, the interceptors for one bed. There’s still two beds that needs interceptors.

We had a hard time getting ahold of a person who could transfer the service out of the sellers name and into ours, as the new buyers. Approximately 7 contact attempts. Once it was taken care of the service was good.

Stacey O. via google

Corey helped me resolve an issue I was having with registering my Terminix account and transferring the service from the previous homeowner to me. He was very persistent and did not stop until the issue was resolved. He was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Bryton was our service rep. He was in communication about his schedule letting us know he would be within the original service window but later than expected, he still made it within the service window. When he arrived, he was attentive to what I had to say (birds living in the chimney), took a look in the chimney, saw no evidence of bird nesting but did see the droppings, gave me an education on roosting but not nesting birds then gave me 2 solutions for handling and an estimate of when he'll have that to us. All of this in about :20! He was competent and mannerly and even went out of his way to answer another question I had about possible wildlife living in a busy area of my backyard an how to handle. Excellent service, will call them again if needed for any service they provide. 7 June 2023 update: The initial service was great but we did have to call to chase up the estimate owed. There was no communication on day of service re: ETA of when technician would be here.

I have a bi-level home w/ ENORMOUS WOLF SPIDERS in my garage that connects to my bottom living room, while we have not completely eradicated the issue yet, my reason for leaving a review is really about my technician, Dominique Day. He is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful, professional, and always on time. I think he deserves recognition from leadership. I will continue to use Ehrlich, even though we haven not fully resolved my spider issue, because of Dominique.

Second time using Ehrlich's. Rick was pleasant, personable and informative.

My service tech is awesome. He makes sure my home is pest free. Only thing I don’t care for is the scheduling tool they have moved to. Sometimes a 2-3 day notice isn’t the most convenient to schedule around. It would be ideal if when my service tech was leaving we could discuss a mutually convenient time to schedule ahead.

Patty P.via Google

We had Chris today who can by and he was so polite and great. Actually, all of the people from your company that came by were excellent! We also had another guy named Darrell that came by a few months ago and he was just so knowledgeable and just a great guy! Please let them know that they did a really awesome job! Thank you!!!

Pests Covered and Not Covered

When considering pest control services, homeowners should be aware of the pests included within a standard plan. Commonly covered pests include ants, cockroaches, spiders, and rodents that frequent the exterior of homes. However, certain pests like termites, bed bugs, and specific wildlife may not be included in basic service plans and could require additional treatment and fees. Understanding which pests are covered can help prevent surprises and ensure that the chosen plan adequately protects your property.

Contracts

Engaging in a pest control service often involves signing a contract. Most providers in Pooler, Georgia, offer annual contracts that may include regular inspections and treatments over the course of the year. It's important to review the terms, as some contracts might have a cancellation fee if you decide to terminate the service before the contract period ends. However, some companies offer flexible arrangements with options to cancel at any time, ensuring that you're not locked into a long-term commitment if your situation changes.

Guarantees

A guarantee is an assurance that the service provided will be effective. Many pest control providers offer some form of guarantee, which typically allows for additional treatments between regular visits if pests return. These guarantees provide peace of mind and validate the provider's commitment to keeping your home pest-free. It's wise to confirm the details of a guarantee before starting service, so you understand the provider's policy on return visits and refunds.

What to Expect During a Treatment

During a treatment, a professional exterminator will inspect your home, identify pest activity, and apply treatments to targeted areas. They may also offer advice on preventing future infestations. Treatments can include sealing entry points, applying pesticides, and setting traps. The specific methods used will depend on the types of pests and the level of infestation. Homeowners should prepare for a treatment by ensuring access to all areas of the home and following any pre-treatment instructions provided by the pest control company.

Bundling and Add-On Services

To maximize protection and potentially save money, homeowners can consider bundling pest control services. Many providers offer discounts when multiple services, such as termite and general pest control, are combined. Additionally, add-on services for pests not typically covered, such as mosquito or tick treatments, can be included for an extra fee. Bundling services can be an effective way to cover all bases and keep your home as safeguarded as possible against a wide array of pests.

Specialty Pests

While general pest control plans cover a range of common pests, issues with specialty pests like termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife require targeted treatment plans. These specialty services often come at an additional cost and may involve more extensive treatment methods. When facing an infestation of specialty pests, it's essential to seek a provider with expertise in eradicating these particular invaders from your home.

One-Time vs Recurring Service

One-time treatments are available for immediate pest issues, providing rapid relief from an infestation. However, for long-term prevention, recurring service plans are encouraged. These plans typically involve regular inspections and treatments to maintain a pest-free environment throughout the year. While one-time services can be effective for quick fixes, recurring services help to prevent the likelihood of future infestations, offering consistent protection for your home.
