I have a bi-level home w/ ENORMOUS WOLF SPIDERS in my garage that connects to my bottom living room, while we have not completely eradicated the issue yet, my reason for leaving a review is really about my technician, Dominique Day. He is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful, professional, and always on time. I think he deserves recognition from leadership. I will continue to use Ehrlich, even though we haven not fully resolved my spider issue, because of Dominique.

My service tech is awesome. He makes sure my home is pest free. Only thing I don’t care for is the scheduling tool they have moved to. Sometimes a 2-3 day notice isn’t the most convenient to schedule around. It would be ideal if when my service tech was leaving we could discuss a mutually convenient time to schedule ahead.

We had Chris today who can by and he was so polite and great. Actually, all of the people from your company that came by were excellent! We also had another guy named Darrell that came by a few months ago and he was just so knowledgeable and just a great guy! Please let them know that they did a really awesome job! Thank you!!!

The tech and inspector that came out did a thorough job. We’re hoping the wasp problem is handled, but they’ll be back in 2 weeks to look again. They spent their time to check over everything. Richard and Shane were both very nice and great on communication.

UPDATE: they reached out today and offered a full refund and an inspection for free. I just wish someone would’ve told us this last night. Customer service is lacking, as they seem to only answer if you’re a new customer. This process has been horrendous but we’re thankful for this resolution. We have a rodent issue and called Orkin ASAP because we have an 11 month old in our home. I took off work to meet the worker. They sent a new person who was nice but they thought it was a routine stop just to set up traps. They brought a handful of glue traps and that was it. They did not inspect or look around or anything. They then said an inspector should come separately but that was never stated or set up. Mind you this entire service was $200. I then called and set up another service for today 4-6, where my husband had to take off work, and nobody showed. So we’re waiting for nothing with a sick baby and out $200….now we’re trying to call to report this and nobody is answering.

In our year-long partnership with Orkin, I am compelled to express my profound satisfaction. Unlike our prior service, which yielded sporadic results, Orkin has consistently demonstrated excellence. The noticeable reduction in pests since our transition is a testament to their efficacy. Their commitment to timeliness and friendliness is a refreshing departure from the ordinary. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend their service – a commendable choice for those seeking not just a solution, but a partner in maintaining a pest-free environment. Grateful for their exceptional service!

Had an awesome first time experience with Orkin. I’m excited we have chosen them for pest control. Tyler came by today and was very polite, answered all of my questions, and was very helpful. They were also able to give me a good discount when they heard I was getting quotes for around here. Even before the discount, they ended up being the best priced service.

Understanding Pest Control Costs in Augusta, Georgia

Homeowners in Augusta, Georgia, seeking pest control services can anticipate a range of pricing depending on various factors such as home size, level of infestation, and the specific pest control plan chosen. Generally, the initial service fee for pest control can range from $175 to $350, with ongoing monthly costs varying from $40 to $100 for average to large-sized homes. This pricing reflects comprehensive protection plans that are widely available and include regular visits from pest control technicians to ensure a pest-free environment. The inclusion of specific pests, the frequency of service, and the methods used for treatment all play a role in determining the overall cost.

Pest Coverage Details

Homeowners can expect their pest control plan to cover a broad spectrum of common pests. This typically includes insects such as ants, roaches, and spiders, as well as rodents like mice and rats. However, specialty pests like termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife may require additional, specialized treatment plans. It's essential to review the list of pests covered under a plan to confirm it aligns with your specific concerns and needs.

Understanding Service Contracts

Pest control often requires a contractual agreement which may last for a specific duration, such as a year. While this ensures regular maintenance and treatment, it's crucial for homeowners to understand the terms of cancellation. Some contracts may offer the flexibility to cancel services at any time, which can be a significant consideration for those who do not wish to commit long-term.

Service Guarantees

Reputable pest control companies commonly offer guarantees, ensuring satisfaction and protection from pests. If pests return between scheduled services, these guarantees usually ensure additional treatments at no extra cost. This commitment provides homeowners with peace of mind, knowing that their investment in pest control is secured by the provider's promise of effectiveness.

Treatment Process Insights

During a typical pest control treatment, technicians will inspect the property, identify pest activity, and apply treatments to targeted areas. This might include sealing entry points, laying traps, or applying chemical treatments. Regular follow-up visits are designed to monitor the situation and apply additional treatments as needed to keep pests at bay.

Options for Bundling and Additional Services

Many pest control companies offer the option to bundle various services for additional savings. This could include combining general pest control with termite prevention or mosquito treatment. Homeowners may also select add-on services for pests that are not included in the standard pest control plan. Bundling can provide an economical solution for comprehensive pest management.

Addressing Specialty Pest Concerns

Specialty pests, which are not typically covered by general pest control plans, require distinct treatment strategies. For those dealing with termites, bed bugs, or wildlife intrusions, specialized plans tailored to these pests are necessary. These plans are often more intensive and may come at a higher cost due to the expertise and resources required to effectively address these challenges.

Deciding Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Determining whether to opt for one-time or recurring pest control services depends on the nature of the pest problem and the homeowner's preferences. Recurring services offer ongoing prevention and are suitable for those looking to maintain a consistently pest-free home. In contrast, a one-time service might be appropriate for addressing a specific, isolated issue.
