From the initial quote, to scheduling, to the technician - it was a great experience. The technician, Jerod was thorough, helpful and diligent in his inspection and treatment. He took care around my dog's items and just couldn't have been nicer.

I have a yearly preventative service. I loved the services and professionalism. Hated the price! Very expensive compared to some other companies. I have 2 other neighbors who get same service but all 3 of us are paying different prices. Whenever I called between scheduled visits, they send someone out the next 1-2 days

I found a bat in my attic. I am deathly afraid of rodents and bats. I called several extermination companies. I left a lot of messages. Celeste, from Orkin got right back to me and scheduled a visit for the next day! She went up into my attic and took pictures of the bats and their feces. It was disgusting! She wrote up a contract for removal and clean up. She was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. The bid seemed fair for all that would be done. We were able to schedule an appointment right away. The crew arrived today to seal everything up and place my “bat cone” which I learned lets bats out but not in. This is the first phase. So far I am very happy with the service and the employees I’ve met. I also got monthly pest control. That crew came out today too. They were also very nice and professional. 3/22/23 My Orkin exterminator came today. He is always so friendly and through. I mentioned that we had already seen some ants inside. He sprayed for ants and general insects today and explained the process. He talks about insect extermination with passion and exuberance. It is very obvious he does his job well and likes what he does which is rare to find in todays world! I appreciate him and the service he provides. His passion and expertise gives me piece of mind. Highly recommend this service! Piece of mind is highly important!!

Just bought a house moving from New York recently. The former owners did not take care of the house leaving alot for me to fix. Had the termites and other bugs taken care of. Also had to get the gutters cleaned and gutter guard installed. The team they sent me was awesome. I believe Ed P., Nile C., Kevin V., John B., and Tyler M. were their names. Great group of workers. They came to me updating me as things were being done and letting me know what was next. They were very professional as well. Very courteous and cordial. Most importantly, they did a great job. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Tyler actually came back the finish a few things to make sure it was all done right. I will definitely recommend them to anybody I come across. I included a photo of all of the vehicles that came. They made sure we were happy. Thank you guys for a great job.

They came out quickly when we realized we were getting an opossum and 3 (!) separate cats in the drop ceiling in our basement. They closed the hole they found outside, added insulation in the ceiling, cleaned, and did a spraying for general bugs and insects.

My tech Don Copes is amazing. Always on time, asks me what issues I’m having, checks every thing out and then explains what he’s done. He’s polite, friendly, knowledgeable and is very respectful of my home. I’ve been working with him as my tech for over 3 years. I wouldn’t want anyone else in my home. Terminex is lucky to have him as an employee!

Common Pest Problems

Delaware residents may encounter a range of pests that can disrupt their daily lives. One common issue in the state is with ants, particularly carpenter ants and pavement ants. Carpenter ants are known for their ability to cause structural damage to homes and buildings, as they excavate wood to create their nests. Pavement ants, on the other hand, are often found in and around sidewalks and driveways, causing annoyance and potential damage to the pavement.

Another pest that frequently plagues Delaware is the notorious mosquito. These blood-sucking insects can turn pleasant outdoor activities into unbearable experiences. With their ability to transmit diseases such as West Nile virus and Zika virus, it is crucial to address mosquito populations to protect the health of Delaware's residents.

Additionally, Delaware residents may also face issues with rodents like mice and rats. These pests can contaminate food, damage property, and spread diseases through their droppings. Their presence can be particularly concerning in residential areas, creating an uncomfortable and unhygienic living environment.

To tackle these pest problems and ensure a pest-free home, residents in Delaware can rely on professional pest control services.
