We rarely have issues with bugs, but when we do, Orkin is who we call. They take the time to work through the issues with me and answer all my questions. Orkin is great at ensuring you know what’s going along the way. Our technician was a pleasure to work with. Communications were top notch!

Since signing on with Orkin, I have experienced professional, skilled, courteous and timely service from the technicians assigned to my account. 8/26/2024 There was a need to contact Orkin about an unexpected pest situation. Orkin was understanding and considerate of the situation and scheduled a technician immediately. The tech arrived on time and resolved the problem; additional precautions were suggested and I concurred and followed through on the techs input. I’m pleased that I have this extermination service and the staff does a great job! Scoslow

Brian was right on time. He was very courteous and professional. He explained what he was going to do about our yellow jacket problem, and asked if we had any other questions. After checking out our problem he gave us the option of switching from the yearly plan I thought I had to sign up for, to just the yellow jacket service. He switched it for us. He told us we can get that later if we felt we needed it. Brian deserves an A+++. Glad I called Orkin.

If I could give 10 stars - I would! Construction caused a sudden mice infestation in our home, and I was freaking out! Amie arrived the day after I called and her professionalism, knowledge and reassurance our home would be rodent free very soon alleviated my panic. And within 1 week, our home is back to normal! In addition, Aimee and Katie both were so very kind. They are the best!

Our Service Technician, Greg, is absolutely awesome! We had a chance to see him on our way out while he was servicing the house. He is such a joy to talk to. He’s friendly and kind. We could see how thorough he does his job. It’s so nice to have someone we can depend on that cares about the job they do. Also, the details he provides about the work he has done. His communication skills are great!

I appreciate Stephen, he was prompt and a true professional. He seemed very down to earth and I felt more at ease and relieved that my concern was taken care of. We need more like him! Give him a raise Please 😊

I’ve always had a good experience with Terminix. Kevin is prompt, pays attention to detail, and is always willing to do extra if it’s needed. For example, I mentioned to him that I found a black widow spider and nest. And he gave extra attention to address that, but he also explained how they can be found in the rock type of landscaping. One time he noticed a pipe coming from house and suggested that I cover opening with screen. Nobody else ever mentioned that to me. Kudos!!!

Greg Morris provided excellent service as he applied a chemical solution to eliminate pests at my resident. Greg was knowledgeable as he explained the services that he would be performing. He was polite, professional, and I want to give him accolades for his customer service skills too. It is employee’s like Greg that really make a difference and I can truly say that I would recommend your company to family members and friends.

From the initial quote, to scheduling, to the technician - it was a great experience. The technician, Jerod was thorough, helpful and diligent in his inspection and treatment. He took care around my dog's items and just couldn't have been nicer.

I have a yearly preventative service. I loved the services and professionalism. Hated the price! Very expensive compared to some other companies. I have 2 other neighbors who get same service but all 3 of us are paying different prices. Whenever I called between scheduled visits, they send someone out the next 1-2 days

Common Pest Problems

Delaware residents may encounter a range of pests that can disrupt their daily lives. One common issue in the state is with ants, particularly carpenter ants and pavement ants. Carpenter ants are known for their ability to cause structural damage to homes and buildings, as they excavate wood to create their nests. Pavement ants, on the other hand, are often found in and around sidewalks and driveways, causing annoyance and potential damage to the pavement.

Another pest that frequently plagues Delaware is the notorious mosquito. These blood-sucking insects can turn pleasant outdoor activities into unbearable experiences. With their ability to transmit diseases such as West Nile virus and Zika virus, it is crucial to address mosquito populations to protect the health of Delaware's residents.

Additionally, Delaware residents may also face issues with rodents like mice and rats. These pests can contaminate food, damage property, and spread diseases through their droppings. Their presence can be particularly concerning in residential areas, creating an uncomfortable and unhygienic living environment.

To tackle these pest problems and ensure a pest-free home, residents in Delaware can rely on professional pest control services. These experts possess the local expertise needed to identify and address specific pest issues. By implementing targeted solutions and preventive measures, pest control services can help Delaware residents regain peace of mind and maintain a clean and safe living environment, free from unwanted intruders.
