I have been paying for service every month. It started because either a mouse or a squirrel was living in my attic. Now that I know it is s squirrel, they can't do it or it is going to cost me. I have been paying for service that they don't really do anything in the winter. They come every other month, but they have not been to my place in over 2 months. The first guy that came out was the best.

We had a good experience with Trutech. Our consultant, Russell, was friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly removed squirrels from our wall and was able to fix the entry locations in tough weather conditions. He followed up with us frequently to ensure the problem was solved. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service was pretty expensive.

Mark J. via google

Hats off to Austin of Trutech. I had a squirrel in my vents of my home. He came in very professional and got the job done in no time. We are now squirrel FREE! Call Trutech if you need them. You won't be disappointed.

Sabrina L. via google

I called in a panic - Austin the representative called back right away and showed up on time. Very professional explaining the process and the problems that I have. Examined the outside of the house and inside - he took pictures. Austin seems to take pride in his work and had knowledge of wildlife prevention. Friendly and took off his shoes without being asked.

I had bats in my attic, Trutech, came out explained there process, went to work. They did exactly what they said they would do to get rid of the Bats. I not only would recommend them, but if I have a problem of this nature again, they will be the first I call.

John C. via google

We had squirrels in the awning of the house trying to work their way into the home. Called Trutech and all the way from their office personnel to the technicians, we had a great experience. Really nice people and very receptive to responding as quickly as possible. Really happy with our experience.

Victor let me know the day prior and before he arrived. However, the call center did ZERO to inform me about the visit though I called them twice m. Poor customer care from the main company but good service from the local branch. Victor was thorough but did not have enough outside bait traps to replace those from our old company. He did great with the traps inside our home. So, mixed review. Victor was very good, call center very poor Service: Rodent extermination

Pest Control Pricing Guide for Minneapolis, Minnesota Homeowners

For residents of Minneapolis, Minnesota, managing pest invasions in the home is a critical concern. The cost of pest control services can fluctuate based on several factors, including property size, the extent of the infestation, treatment strategy, and the frequency of services. Generally, homeowners might anticipate paying an initial fee that ranges from approximately $175 to $350. Subsequent monthly fees for ongoing pest control services vary, with an average home likely to incur costs from $40 to $100 per month. This price range ensures that whether the problem is minor or extensive, there are options available to address the pest situation effectively.

Pests Included and Exclusions

In Minneapolis, pest control services offer protection against a variety of unwelcome critters. These typically include common household pests like ants, cockroaches, mice, rats, spiders, and silverfish. However, not all pests are covered under standard plans. Homeowners may need to seek additional services for pests such as termites, bed bugs, wildlife, and in some cases, specific types of ants like carpenter ants or fire ants.

Understanding Service Contracts

Most pest control companies require a service contract when initiating their services. These agreements can span one-year or multi-year periods, often with the flexibility to cancel. It's important for homeowners to review these contracts carefully, as some may include cancellation fees or penalties if the service is terminated before the end of the agreement period.

Service Guarantees

Quality pest control companies stand behind their work with guarantees. If pests return between scheduled treatments or if the homeowner is dissatisfied with the service, these guarantees usually allow for additional treatments at no extra charge. It's a commitment from the provider to maintain a pest-free environment in your home.

Treatment Processes

When a pest control professional visits a Minneapolis home, they will typically perform an assessment, treat the identified problem areas, and provide preventive measures to deter future infestations. The treatment might include sealing entry points, laying traps, or applying pesticides. Homeowners can expect a thorough approach designed to tackle both the immediate issue and prevent new ones.

Economizing with Bundled Services

Bundling pest control services can offer significant savings. Many companies provide discounts when combining treatments for multiple pests or when adding services such as termite inspections or mosquito control to a general pest plan. These bundled options can be a wise choice for comprehensive property protection.

Addressing Specialty Pest Concerns

Certain pests require specialized treatment beyond the scope of general pest control plans. Companies may offer specific interventions for termites, bed bugs, rodents, and wildlife. These situations often need a targeted approach due to the nature of the pests and the potential damage they can cause.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

While one-time treatments are available, most pest control firms in Minneapolis emphasize the importance of recurring services to maintain a consistent defense against pests. These ongoing plans typically include regular inspections and treatments, which are crucial for long-term pest management and prevention.
