*EDIT* Thank you to Justin from Wichita for calling me and fixing the issue! Going to start calling this office directly instead of using the national number. Review for customer service I've reached out to customer service twice this last week about a billing question and not received any help. It seems that passing the buck is the solution. Hopefully leaving a public review will do something. During the original visit to check for mice, the technician was polite and helpful, and explained the contract and pricing. I thought the price was very high considering we've used Terminix in the past and never paid that much. I asked about a lower monthly cost as well as discounts that I've seen marketed on their website. I was told no to both. Living on the edge of town, next to a field, we see a lot of wildlife and since keeping any pests out of our home is priority, I agreed to the contracted price. Upon looking through the Terminix website the next week, I see their plans that include pest control, are listed for HALF of what I was told I would be paying monthly for my contract. I'm feeling taken advantage of at this point. I contact customer service to be told that there is an additional plan included on my contract-which wasn't explained to me, nor did I ask for- and I would like to change my contract to the price marketed for the services I want. Twice now, I haven't gotten anywhere reaching out.

Pest Control in Kansas

Residents of Kansas may encounter a variety of pests that can become a nuisance in their homes or businesses. One common issue experienced by many Kansas residents is the presence of ants. These tiny insects can invade homes in search of food and water, making their way into kitchens, pantries, and even bedrooms. While some ant species may be relatively harmless, others, like carpenter ants, can cause structural damage by tunneling through wood.

Additionally, residents in Kansas may also face problems with spiders. While most spiders are harmless, some species, such as black widows and brown recluses, can pose a threat to human health with their venomous bites. These spiders are often found in dark and secluded areas, making basements, attics, and garages potential hotspots for infestations.

Furthermore, termites are a significant concern for Kansas residents. These silent destroyers can cause extensive damage to the wooden structures of homes and buildings. Since termites often remain hidden, their presence may go unnoticed until significant damage has already occurred. Regular inspections and preventive measures, such as termite treatments, can help protect properties from these destructive pests.

To effectively address these pest issues and ensure a pest-free environment, residents of Kansas can rely on the expertise of professional pest control services. These professionals are trained to identify, treat, and prevent pest infestations, safeguarding homes and businesses from the potential harm caused by ants, spiders, termites, and other pests.

Year Round Pest Control in Kansas

Pest control services play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and comfortable environment in Kansas throughout the year. From pesky insects to rodents and wildlife, these unwelcome guests can cause a range of problems if left unchecked. Here's a glimpse into the significance of pest control services in Kansas:

  • February: Termites, although more active during spring and summer, can still cause damage to properties.
  • March: With the arrival of spring, ants become more active, invading homes and gardens.
  • April: Mosquitoes begin to emerge, posing health risks due to the transmission of diseases.
  • May: Tick populations increase, putting humans and pets at risk of tick-borne illnesses.
  • June: Fleas become prevalent, causing discomfort and potential health issues for both humans and pets.
  • July: Bed bugs thrive during the summer months, making vigilance and prompt action necessary.
  • August: Bees and wasps can become more aggressive, posing risks to those with allergies.
  • September: Rodents start preparing for colder months, seeking shelter, and causing damage.
  • October: Spiders become more noticeable as they seek warmer indoor spaces.
  • November: Wildlife, such as raccoons and squirrels, may invade attics and cause structural damage.
  • December: Mice and rats continue to seek shelter indoors, leading to potential contamination and property damage.
  • Maintaining an effective pest control regimen throughout the year helps minimize these issues and ensures a safe and comfortable living environment for residents of Kansas.
