ADT has 145 years of experience providing quality protection services to customers. They’ve pioneered the first automated burglary service, and their days of innovation aren’t over. Customers are happy with the quality of service that ADT provides, even if the initial costs may be prohibitive to smaller budgets.
We were impressed that even the base package comes with 24/7 alarm monitoring that also includes flood, fire, and carbon monoxide protection so that your home is protected inside and outside. It was also notable that customers are happy with the professionalism, promptness, and friendliness of the customer service representatives, as this is often something hard for larger companies to control.
ADT’s offerings are primarily catered to homeowners and commercial properties and aren’t the best for renters. This is due to the installation required and long contracts to pay off equipment.

Overall, customers are happy with ADT and are drawn to its reliability and quick and friendly response with customer service. Many were happy with how quick and easy the installation is, and if installers need to come out, they are professional and efficient. Although many found that the cost was higher than competitors, they felt that the price was worth the service quality.
Some reviews even highlighted how ADT was able to save their lives through their monitoring capabilities. One woman explained how ADT detected carbon monoxide in the home while she was away and called firefighters to her house before anything worse happened.
ADT is really known nationwide and I heard about it a lot. So, I decided to try it out and see. The person I spoke to who set up the appointment and the person who came over to install everything were both very helpful and very professional. The main reason I did it is when we go on vacation, nobody’s home, and I would like to keep an eye on the house. I’m always home, but still, I wanted to install everything and have the system ready. Everything seems to be working fine. We set up the alarm the day before because someone dropped something, so there was a loud noise and the alarm thought it was a window broken. I’m very satisfied right now.
It has been six years since we’ve had ADT and I don’t have any problems with the system. ADT has been around longer than the other providers. And I had a pretty good experience with them.
