Since 1950 Guardian Protection has been offering home and business security services, and their expertise shows. From the clean UI of their website to the numerous five-star reviews, Guardian Protection excels at showing the value of their security systems through firsthand accounts.
Along with their friendly and knowledgeable representatives, we were impressed by the number of packages they offer and their unique descriptions of each one. Their website shows knowledge of their customer base.
Customers often don’t want to settle for a “base” package that may not give them the protection they need, but they also don’t want to pay more for unnecessary equipment. By describing packages as “Family First” or “Frequent Flyer,” Guardian Protection quickly educates customers about the equipment that would benefit them most.

While most companies offer tiered packages that list a basic package, average, and high-end one, we were impressed by the sheer number of packages Guardian Protection lists on its website at a whopping nine. They truly know what consumers are looking for when they’re in search of a home protection service.
For instance, each package has a descriptive name such as “Protect My Parents,” “Pet Parent,” or “Family First” that clearly and concisely helps customers find the level of security they need.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to receive a quote through email or text and will need to speak with a representative.
Guardian Protection does list its base package price, which starts at $149 for the IQ2 control panel, one motion detector, and three door and window sensors. You’ll need to agree to the minimum term rate of 60 months and pay a monthly price of $45.99 for monitoring.

From TrustPilot to Consumer Affairs to Google Business, we were impressed by the overall positive reviews Guardian Protection has garnered across the board at a solid four to five stars. The majority of reviewers mentioned the professional, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service professionals and salesmen and women.
They were happy that Guardian Protection representatives never rushed with issues and questions and responded in a patient and thorough manner. Overall, technicians installed their equipment quickly and guided customers through the operation of their new security systems.
Lastly, we were impressed by recent reviews that stated technicians were putting on masks and taking off shoes before entering customers’ homes.
I chose Guardian as my home security system on the recommendation of a neighbor. I called Guardian and they sent out a representative and he gave me a detailed explanation on how they would secure my home. I agreed to having the system installed and within 2 days a service technician Harry showed up and did an amazing job on the installation and took his time to fully explain the system to my wife and I. From the start to finish my experience with Guardian has been 5 Star all the way. I highly recommend this company.
The whole process with Guardian was smooth and easy. Mike was great during the sales and selection process…was patient with us and provided us with a great number of alternatives that fit our needs. Talea was also great…checking in with us and quickly setting up our installation once we had our closing date. Mark was very courteous and professional and got us installed and walked us thru the basics of the system as quickly as possible. Again, our experience with Guardian thus far has been a very positive one and I would certainly recommend Guardian to others.

They’re also the first company in history to be recognized twice as Security Company of the Year by the industry journal SDM. Guardian Protection received Angie’s List Super Service
Award in 2018, proving their exemplary customer service. This award is significant because only five percent of businesses receive it.
Once known as Guardian Protection Services, in 2019, they shortened their name to Guardian Protection and introduced a new deep purple brand color and logo.
